*2012 NFC North Trash Talking Thread: Playoffs. Packers drilled by San Francisco/Kaepernick.

Definition of a trap game right here.... the 49ers have to travel across the country to New York to play Rex Ryan's Jets in Week 4, so who's really getting up for this game?
Not calling a win, but it might be a lot closer than people think. :nerd: :smokin

God, I so hope you guys are right. It's just hard to envision for me right now. I have limited confidence. It's like if they stop Percy and Rudolph using their all-world LB's then what the hell will Minnesota do to get points? AP isn't AD yet and that run D :x Toby can't break tackles...I'm soo worried.

They'll need to find a way to have total ball control and hope that Allen and Robison finally get some big time sacks.

This thread is only 5 pages at Week 3?!?!
Lets face it, the credibility of this thread relies on the Packers and Vikings being good... the Lions fans and ESPECIALLY the Bears fans aren't cuttin it for how good the trash talk was in 2009 leading to 2010. :smh:

It'll never be like that again. Most of it had to do with Favre. The hostility will never reach that point again between Packers and Vikings fans. I swear there were literally 30 Vikings fans in here blabbering everyday. Now I can only name like 3.

I tried talking smack but it came off as "whining" and Packer fans are "mad sensitive". So I have to remain humble. As if the Vikings fans were anything but humble in 2009

"business as usual"

Quite frankly I think this thread is slow because we all know where the division is going. :D

I really hope Simpson pans out. How does the d give up 10 points just from the end of halftime and regulation.

Lions just need to get their secondary healthy. When Houston, Bentley, and Delmas are back we will be in a lot better shape. I still think they can take the division. The Packers haven't looked that impressive on offense yet, and neither have the Lions, both teams are still going to reach stride in the next couple weeks, then things should get more interesting. Bears fans were high going into the season, but were served up some humble pie by Clay Matthews. Now the whole team is in disarray with Cutler being criticized by teammates. Really don't see them doing anything this season, maybe 8-8. Queens are in rebuilding mode, not much else to say there.

Our season depends on Leshore being legit and the secondary being healthy.

If both of those things happen we will be aight.

It's week 3 champ...and we're still better than the Lions.

About that........

If Leshoure is anything close to good then it will be huge given he's a great change of pace back from Kevin Smith who can still do a lot of things. It will also help share the workload so injury isn't as likely...You'd hope.

Illmatic, whatever helps you sleep at night man. Bears are frauds until they prove different.

Can't wait for Leshoure to get in the mix this week. I thought he would take the starting spot over Best last year and expect him to take it from Smith in the next 2 weeks. Would have been huge to have a back that size going up against the 49er's last week.

And how do I quote multiple posts in one reply? No matter what I do I can only quote one post at a time :nerd:

A healthy Leshoure will definitely be a big addition, I like Kevin Smith but he can't break any tackles and doesn't get any kind of yards after contact, he just goes straight down. I think he was just overworked in college, which also explains why he's always hurt. I heard Mikel is expected to get about 15 touches against the Titans, I expect to see some good runs against a pretty bad D so far. Also Houston and Bentley should be back, thank god.

I'm going GB over Seattle at home by four (tentatively), Lions over Titans by 7, Bears over Rams by 7-10 (big day for M. Bush), and 49ers over Vikings by 13.

 @ the bears going 8-8

Guess I wouldn't know good teams either if I had a brown paper bag on for so many years

Jesus Christ, one 10-6 season and you're shooting off your mouths as if you were relevant for the past 30 ******g years. IT'S WEEK THREE, I DIDN'T KNOW TEAMS COULD BE FRAUDS AFTER TWO GAMES. We beat the same team comfortably that you struggled against. The Vikings are even better than your team.

Certain things I did this weekend have my superstition wondering if I should do them again. Cracked my first beer at 10am, didn't wear Vikings paraphernalia, and have an Eagles avy.
