There was no defense that could have shut down the 9ers because of how much of a better athlete was than anyone on green bays defense.

When I saw dude running from Woodson who had an angle I knew it was a wrap.
 
Woodson is probably the slowest dude in the secondary at this point... I've seen Tramon run people down from behind, Shields ran a 4.2... Id bet the rest are faster in a straight line too.
 
^ I dont remember blitzing at all. I remember doing it once and I thought we had him but then he stepped up an busted a 30 yard run :lol: Would have at least liked to see it more due to the conservative approach not working once. Whatever im over it, game planning now aint going to change anything. Just gotta wait to see how someone else contains it.

Meanwhile. This depresses me even more than the loss.

First off, Driver :smokin appreciate everything its been a good one but its that time. Happy I got to see him score this year at Lambeau in person and see him do the Dancing with Stars celebration.

Now we know that Jennings is more than likely gone but ive always had a bit of faith we can make it happen. Top 3 jokes aside, he's friggin good, he's responsible for our offenses success more than anyone outside of Rodgers, and as a person he exemplifies exactly what the Packers organization takes pride in. This gif squashes all remaining faith I had. It looks as if Jennings says either "Its been a pleasure playing with you" or "Im going to miss playing with you" and Driver says "Thank you" :frown:

I think we'll be fine without him, but we really might not be the offensive juggernaut again like last year with him gone unless JJ catches the ball like this year, Jordy stays healthy, Cobb takes it to a Percy Harvin level replacing Jennings production, and TT hits again in the draft with a WR. I wonder if its possible that we can keep Jennings if we let ago of Hawk along with Finley but idk if it would be smart to get rid of Hawks reliability to stay on the field unlike everyone else. He's not what he was expected to be but ill give him that he stays on the field.

I'm not saying Woodson is fast but he's still a smart starting secondary player that couldn't catch a quarterback with an angle.

When you are dealing with that type of athlete you got problems.

I don't think Dom Capers is a good DC or even average but its like when Lions fans want Gunther fired because the Lions give up big plays. You can only do so much when you don't have good players.
 
So in you guy's opinion, what's the best next move for the Vikes? QB, deep threat receiver, younger DL, or back up RB? Anyone specific you think we should go after?

Sign Percy to an extension.

If not, they're going to need a replacement for him. Either Cordarelle Patterson or Tavon Austin are two of my preferences. I would look at probably drafting them anyway.

Yea I'm praying that he's willing to sign an extension. Seems like he has a love/hate relationship with our organization so who knows. I'm just hoping Ponder shows some progression during the off season cause I do think he has potential. I think we need to get some younger talent on that DL and find a nice backup RB, preferably someone who's a catching type RB. Maybe we should go after Jennings too. I've seen talk about Vick but don't think I want to take that gamble...

I wouldn't mind a late round get of an Andre Ellington or Joseph Randle type, if they happen to slip or someone like Jonathan Franklin or Kenjon Barner. I wouldn't worry too much about RB unless, at the least one of those is there in round 3. I agree they definitely need to get younger on the DL and regardless of the Percy situation, they need another playmaking receiver. My money is on a WR with their first pick.
 
I'm pretty much banking on Percy leaving.. ever since last offseason where he wanted out and this season with Frazier putting 'em on IR.. things aren't looking too good, which sucks because he's the biggest threat receiving we have had Moss first left. :frown:
 
I can rock with both of these guys getting their due.

Pretty damn good day for Vikings fans, but I'd rather be in the Super Bowl. :\ At least they have some relevancy this weekend, I guess.

Sorry for the sad attitude. My good friend/roommate is a Niner fan and he's amp'd for today, so I get to kind of see how it would be. I want that feeling. :lol:

I believe we'll get there soon, our team is built similar to the niners, good running game & defense. Just need a few more playmakers on offense & hope Ponder develops.

We need to upgrade the Linebacker position. Brinkley and Erin Henderson aint the answer. They good special teams players thats it. I hope the Vikings draft a WR in the 1st rd. Terrance Williams from Baylor

I don't know about all that, but they're definitely putting together some pieces that make me encouraged about their progression.

If Titus Young wasn't such a dumbass the Lions would've had a potent passing attack. I've never heard of lining up in the wrong places to purposely sabotage a play. Douche.
