Official Fall/Winter 2016/17 Boot Thread...Fall is creepin up

i aint never seen em that low

the lowest i seen (and i kick myself for not makin da move) was 120 at jimmy jazz in like July

I believe for the last couple of black fridays at Modells the wheats were $75. I'm sitting on 2 pairs I copped last black friday, but even before that I never paid more than $100-110 and I go through a pair every year for like the last 10yrs.

I would never drop $180 for Timbs, especially when there are places like David Z that have Redwings go on sale for $110-150 at even this point of the year.

Edit: My bad. The were actually $70 last black friday.

I don't think we have a modells in my area, metro Detroit, but imma be on that this year, hopefully they do phone orders

Had been interested in some Danner mountain trails for quite a while but always thought $320 was a bit much for some boots.. Managed to find them on amazon (prime) for $185 which I thought was very reasonable and I am veeery happy with them. Took a few days to break in, but after some solid wear and a nice coat of mink oil, they/re perfeeeect. Definitely not the most waterproof boots out there, but I just love the way they look and don't plan to do much harsh weather trekking in them lol

in case anyone else would be interested - Amazon product ASIN B005BQI18G

The Daltons are nice but not sure if they would look right on me. Need to hit up the AE outlet soon and try them on. That walnut colorway is great.

oh gee, thanks.

I still have these in mint condition, only a few wears from both. I'll get some more mileage this winter.

Was just about to ask if anyone remembered the Black Friday sale Modells did on Timbs last year. Good looks on this, I slept during last year's sale online. Timberland did a sale online too, I forgot what the % was though. Want a pair of wheats and blacks.

trying to cop those j crew red wing wabasha but they never go on sale and no way im dropping 300 for em

red wings for j crew NEVER go on sale. your best bet is to maybe use a discount code for like 30% unless red wings are excluded :nerd: :smh: j crew pricing frustrates me sometimes

I was all for those boots until I saw the heel, it ruins it to me

i honestly still don't like the heel. always thought it was a bit feminine in the way it contours with the rest of the upper heel. still a good cop tho. handmade :pimp:

I was cleaning dirt off my bean boots yesterday. Need to wear them more this year.

There was a 25% off jcrew coupon last month. I don't think there were any exclusions. Was tempted to get those Wabashas.
