Yeah, I've read that kiwi is a good brand. I've been reading a lot about treating boots in the style forum threads. Lots of great info. Most of them say to skip the spray protectors and use snoseal or obenauf lp. They apply them by hand.
I think I'm leaning towards the Obenauf LPs for my boots.

My questions are should I apply them before I wear the boots or after I wear the boots for a period of time? And will the Obenauf change the color of the boots (they're black)?

Good call on the obenauf, some people complained that snoseal makes dust stick to their boots. Need to order some obenauf for my boots. If you plan on wearing them in a lot of snow or rain it wouldn't hurt to put it on. The color will darken but probably won't be too noticeable on black boots. Will try and find a link to the thread I was reading.

Here's a link that has some good info. http://www.styleforum.net/t/132920/obenaufs-lp-it-works/150

Too late, I read the same thread earlier today while doing research. :pimp:

I think I'll be wearing the RWs on days after rain and snow. So the environment will be quite wet.

Love the Arktos. Nike made up in a big way for leaving me hanging with the ACG Salbis scrap a couple years ago.

They Arktos are true to size. I'm happy with them. They'll last me some years for sure.

Meriwether today.
