Official Fall/Winter 2016/17 Boot Thread...Fall is creepin up

I copped a pair over black friday for $60 this year.

The outlet is about a half hour away from me, but its a trip I'm willing to take 1-2 times a year if it means saving $100.

There's a burlington and Marshals closer to me though. Had no idea they carried Timbs. Going to check them out next time I need some boots :nerd:

Wow. Their GA factory store is trash then. They ain't eem have the black nubucks or black leather smh, and yea the wheats were 180 & excluded from sales. Goddamn we getting robbed

Ima keep Burlington in mind.

honestly i dunno why timbs bein 179.99 are an issue on a site called NIketalk

the inflation of nikes and jordans beats all

i mean the price i paid for timbs back in HS, yea gas prices were way diff also, i guess im looking at this diff but what hasnt gone up in price over the years?

 don't trip as if you don't know a majority of us general forum posters hardly, if ever, buy nikes the way we used to.

The thought of paying over $120 for a pair of Jordans (typical price my connect gets me when/if I decide to buy kicks) seems laughable. Damn sure not about to drop two bills on a pair of timbs when I know they can be gotten for wayyyyyyy less.

nah................youre right about that also

but i just meant i guess the price increase doesnt shock me

everything is more money these days.

The power of a dollar, man. They get away with it because they know some folks will pay the money for it. Same with Nike. I just can't get down with that crazy inflation.

Because there is no hype(not as much) behind it and its not released in a limited quantity. I mean, I don't understand people who drop serious bread on Jordans or stand in line either; but I do feel for dudes not wanting to drop $180 on Timbs.
6inch Premiums (double sole) is a staple, especially for us folks in NY. Like I've said a few pages back, I go through a pair every 1-1.5 yrs ever since I was a kid. No way would I pay $180 when I know I can wait and get them for $70-90 off season or during black friday and just stock up. These things are going to sit during off season and get reproduced over and over again, anyone paying $180 just to have a pair NOW is straight up getting jerked.
Price increase isn't a problem nor a shock, there will be suckers; but its good that its discussed on here so we can all extend deals to one and another on how not to pay MSRP.

I guess cause Timbs have been around forever and im sure a majority of people already have had a pair of Timbs previously that they didnt pay retail for.

Probably still think they can get a pair for cheaper, so they dont settle for $180+

man hursh wit dat "we pay it for da js" talk, imma be coppin these like fresh whites mane, i wanna get 3 black nubuck premiums at a time, and if the price is really for a *****, imma get em for my bros too

can yall post the joints yall got on da sale?

I just want to know where dudes are getting premium 6" double sole wheats for $90, the outlet be having the single sole women's joints

:nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

You can't really compare.

Why pay $180, when theres a store selling them for half the price?

If there was an Air Jordan Outlet selling retro's for $70, I'd be there too.

I once had over 280 sneakers. Paid full price for about 5-8 pairs. Everything else was 30%-50% off. I think $180+ is stupid. All of my Timbs were on sale except for my DTLR that I bought, didn't have a choice but to pay retail :x

Man $180 is crazy, I brought some scuff proof Tims(wheat colored 6in) from marshalls, last summer for $79, I clean them with wet cloth and its ago, they still in great shape too.(granted I don't where them everyday, mobb deep like).

Honestly I think dudes are getting them mixed up, I've never seen premium double sole nubucks for less than 160$ not eem years back....they have gone up in price but and I think the 196$ price tag is a bit high, but it's not surprising when dudes are legit willing to drop 3x that amount on a pair of lebrons or 2x that amount on a pair of red wings...

Can ya post pics of these 6inch premium wheat nubucks ya copping for 90$

These are really just looking at me and saying "buy me" :smh:
