Official Fall/Winter 2016/17 Boot Thread...Fall is creepin up

Those denim Visvim are :smokin
Louis vs aren't bad either but nothing special. They had some really nice boots a few seasons back. I'll post a pic of them later.

I haven't experienced the pain in breaking in Red Wing boots until a few days ago. I've worn them a few times already but they definitely had to be broken in a lot more. I didn't wear heavy socks and after walking in them for 40-50 minutes the skin on my right heel started to get scraped. Having blood on your sock is not fun.

I know that feel. Wear thick socks and tie them tight is the best advice I can give.

Why not just buy better boots then? That sounds hideous

My Eastland Sherman's were like that; it took a good 25+ wears

Lol! Redwings are great boots; just not made for soft footed ****** who are accustomed to all that padding  Redwings basically have a leather insole and thats it. After break in they are very comfortable though.

Yeah, I learned my lesson. Just wanted to try the lighter socks since it was a warm day.

When you buy a pair of RW's you know the break in period can be a little rough. I didn't experience it until I had to walk in them for a long time. Love the boots though. They are tanks and very durable.

Damn. That's a lot of wears. I have a pair of eastland lumber ups. I was lucky the leather was soft and broken in on them right away. Most comfortable boots i've ever worn.

To each his own. I personally fail to see what about those is worth $1100, but again that's just me.

Also those Stussy times are garbage but that's just me also nahmsayin

I have no problem with anyone laughing at the pink constructs. I seen them in the store and laughed. They cool but too much at the same time. Stupid bright but I like them.

Any high quality leather boot is going to take time to break in and mold to your foot.

Shogun - Go grab a pack of of moleskin and use on while you break them in. My Vibergs tore my feet about the first couple times I wore them. I grabbed some moleskin and wore it for the next handful of times I wore the boots, and it took care of all issues. Now I can wear the boots with thin dress socks all day for several days straight and they're perfect. Only needed to use the moleskin for about a week.

I like the zipper on the wheat Stussy Timbs I got. No color is touching the OG wheat with the black collar, but its a nice design.

Pink though? Cmon.

breaking a shoe in and having it be painful are two different things. maybe he got a small size or something.
