I'm in Arizona right now, and wore boots to class this morning.

When I lived in NY boots were exclusively used (for me at least) in the Fall Winter months. Rainy, snowy days, days where wearing sneakers was generally a bad idea.

Rainy days are few and far between in Maricopa County and I don't mind wearing sneakers on rainy days out here so long as they are water proofed.

More power to you for repping that #Bootlife out here but for me I don't see much utility.

I have the Beckmans and love them. The 1K boot has a better shape though. Beckmans have a really big, round toe area. If there's a good cobbler near you, getting a rubber sole put on the Wolverines would be nice.

I don't have RWs so can't speak on those but I've got 1000 miles in brown and I love em. The leather is really nice and soft from day one and I know people say RWs take a while to break in but the 1ks are comfortable right out of the box. They also look great and you can dress em up or down. I've been wearing mine to work a lot this winter (business casual dress code at an engineering firm)
