Official Fall/Winter 2016/17 Boot Thread...Fall is creepin up

I have my eyes on these, alpine grain leather + commando sole would be perfect for urban walking and the office. really can't justify dropping that kind of dough atm though.

I decided to return those and get something more casual. I'm considering the classic wheat timbs, any other suggestions? Seems like 1 out of every 5 people I see have the classic timbs so maybe something different.

Like people usually say, depends on the last but I'm a 9.5 in most boots and usually a 10.5 in Nikes. I have a pair of the Beckman Red Wings in a 9.5. I wear the thickest socks I have with them and tie them tight but there's still a little bit of room because the toe area is big. Sizing down more would probably be uncomfortable. I just accepted that I can't get a lock down fit in boots like I can in sneakers which are more padded and have cushioning.

Also check out the reviews on sites like zappos and style forum. People post about the sizing.

How do y'all prevent stanky feet or boots .. I got some wool lined ones.. I don't wear socks with them

Yea I probably should . But I feel that the moisture my feet create I may help my cracked feet heel

beautiful

info?

Timberland coulter 9 eye- wheat. The leather is awesome but they almost have a suede like texture to them so I still haven't worn them, I know they'll get dirty as hell if I wear them like other boots. I also have a pair in brown oiled leather I wear regularly (pics 3 pages back). If you track them down, they're sized big. I wear 11.5, both of my pairs are 10.

How do redwing boots fit?

I wear an 11.5 in nikes

I am 12.5 in flyknits

I am 11 in Red Wing Mocs.... That's a snug fit with no movement.

My next pick up will be the Danner Horween boots... A completely different look to my current line-up.

Wolverine Kilometer. $150 off amazon, can't beat that at all for made in the USA Goodyear welter boots.

I highly suggest investing in cedar shoe trees. It will really help retain the shape of the shoe and remove sweat. Keeps it lasting way longer long term

i'll be wearing these grensons all fall/winter .. i also have them in brown, but i'm going to sell them.

Version of the 1000 mile? Link me bro. Cheapest I've found any variation of the 1000 mile is $200. Tried them on in Nordstrom and they're extremely nice.

Edit- so the difference is the leather used, and the sole. I like that the kilos are full vibram though, can't wear stacked leather in the rain. However, from what I read that accounts for the lower price compared to the 1000. Still link me please.
