Version of the 1000 mile? Link me bro. Cheapest I've found any variation of the 1000 mile is $200. Tried them on in Nordstrom and they're extremely nice.
Edit- so the difference is the leather used, and the sole. I like that the kilos are full vibram though, can't wear stacked leather in the rain. However, from what I read that accounts for the lower price compared to the 1000. Still link me please.
Yeah is the 1883 collection which bridges the gap between their made in China garbage and the 1000 mile collection which is usually really expensive.
Yeah my budget was actually 100 for new boots and I was just gonna grab the Chippewa Apache but I stretched it for these and it was well worth it.
As you said, the only major difference is the leather used. It isn't Horween Chromexcel but boots that have that rarely go cheap. Leather on these is still fantastic and they're breaking in very nicely. I wore them about 3 times and the leather insole is real nice. I give it about another week before it's completely comfy. I like it because it's a work boot that has the dressier twist with the stacked heel.
I actually think the sole on these is better than they're regular 1000 mile because I prefer vibram rubber over leather sole.
Anyways: 1883 by Wolverine Men's Kilometer 6'' Made in The USA Winter Boot, Brown, 11 M US Amazon product ASIN B00XF70PV4
Mine came out to $150 with HOLIDAYS25. I would suggest going half to a full size down from your normal Nike size.
