Official Fall/Winter 2016/17 Boot Thread...Fall is creepin up

Been thinking moc toes may be my next purchase and came across these Fryes at the rack last night. Anyone have firsthand experience or comments? They were pretty nice, seemed very well made, comfortable. Just couldn't get myself to pull the trigger with the wedge sole at $150+tax. Thinking about going back for them though

I am looking to add a Horween Danner boot as well, just haven't found the right one yet. Post up your collections.

How is the Beckman / Blacksmith sizing? I don't own any RWs and haven't tried any on in a long time. I'm a true 11.5.. I wear 11 in most dress shoes, 10.5 in Wolverines, 10.5 in Fryes, and 10 in Timberland Boot Company.

My Beckmans are a 9.5. I'm a 10.5 in sneakers. I probably could've even went down to a size 9. I wear them with my thickest boot socks and tied tight but there's still some room left.

I would go 10.5. You might be able to do the 10, but the boot is somewhat narrow and long.

I am a 10.5 in sneakers but can wear anything from a 9-10 in RW. It is kind of weird. I prefer the 9.5 - 10.

I know that they are supposed to be real long in the toe though. Half an inch or a little more.

So they might feel big but that is the purpose
