Do red wing boots fit true to size? Do I really need to get fitted by a specialist? I'd like to but a pair from Zappos but I'm on the fence.

Reviews have said the moc toe models fit half a size big. If you're buying moc toes, some colors are on sale on nordstroms for $150 and free shipping.

No problem, glad I could help. I ordered a pair also. Only thing that sucks is it'll take a week or two to ship but it's worth it considering you save $100. Glad zappos didn't have my size so I waited and saw a good deal.
Only boots left I want to get are some 6' wheat Timbs and a pair of Alden Indy boots.

I don't mind the timing at all, I have some wheat timbs but would like a black pair. it kills me that the price is $180 now, they could be had for $100-$130 for years, times have changed.

Quoddy's are nice but they are about $450 and aren't easy to find on sale; that is the pair with blue in them above

word. part of my appreciation for this brand is simply because its handmade in america. ain't surprised its in maine tho lol.
the LL Bean Duck boot i believe is handmade in maine as well.
those polo boots are tough as hell but im kinda feelin the red wing washabas more. Also hand made in Maine

Not when i tried. Gave you the free shipping but not the 30% off. Ones i posted above are almost the same as 10061.
