Thanks. They've been on my want list for a couple of years and finally pulled the trigger. I took advantage of a jcrew coupon. You can get a pair of seconds on shoe mart for I think around $300.

Was thinking about getting a pair of Dalton's too but I'm going to save up and try to find a tv on Black Friday.

does anyone know how ronnie's boots sell? Debating if I should wait it out and try to cop the Thomas Boots in tan on sale or just bite the bullet and cop for retail. Any input would be appreciated

Irish Setter Wingshooter 7". More of a work boot than a casual boot, i've been beating the hell out of them lately. Extremely comfortable and warm. 
 
the chanel logo on the tongue/hang tag, pull tab and tonal leather collar would be enough to make em not the average construction for me. that metal tree looks goofy, would have looked better flush or embroidered in gold thread.

my only gripe with polo boots is that they feel like they have ZERO cushioning tech whatsoever, like theres just the rubber and then the insole, and for the price they charge, I would like a real lining

They do, and that's what I loved most about them. I have tons of stylish winter boots so this year I wanted to spend on something I could really use. A full 600 grams of Thinsulate, Fiberglass Shank, Composite Toe (steel grade), Waterproof Leather on top of Waterproof membrane, and the list goes on. These things are tanks.
