Official Fall/Winter 2016/17 Boot Thread...Fall is creepin up

Honestly I think dudes are getting them mixed up, I've never seen premium double sole nubucks for less than 160$ not eem years back....they have gone up in price but and I think the 196$ price tag is a bit high, but it's not surprising when dudes are legit willing to drop 3x that amount on a pair of lebrons or 2x that amount on a pair of red wings...

Can ya post pics of these 6inch premium wheat nubucks ya copping for 90$

Too many mom and pop shops and places like Richies in NYC giving up deals during the summer. As we've said before, Black Friday is always a go ($70-80) at a few places. But yeah, I'm talking about the 6 inch double sole nubucks.

You got me wanting some Wheats bruh.

All I own are the darker cinnamon joints and black joints. I love these boots. My girl rocks the wheats though

I think youre looking at the wrong boot fam.

Wheat Nubuck and Wheat look exactly the same cept the hanging tag on the Nubuck looks newer, also the boot itself is a darker shade.

This is $160, wheat nubuck

This is wheat, $170

I just want to know where dudes are getting premium 6" double sole wheats for $90, the outlet be having the single sole women's joints

:nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

I haven't paid over $100 for PREMIUM wheats or black 6" since High School. I guess it depends on location, in a city like NY I can see it being very hard to find a pair for under $100 during cold seasons. Probably have to wait until summer and clean up then.

Whats the cheapest you guys have seen the wheat/black Timbs 6" premium joints for?

$160 for the wheat, $150 for the black. I highly doubt I can get it THAT much cheaper?
Not gonna find them much cheaper. Amazon has them. I've seen the black ones for $110 on there, randomly but it's rare to see the wheat lower than $150.

People slept. I posted in this very thread Timberland.com's yearly Black Friday sale. They had black premium 6" for $94 with free shipping (25% off + extra 35% code), once I posted on Twiiter many NTers cleaned up. And there was no limit so many doubled up. I always wait for the BF sale on Timberland's site, but this was the first year that premium wheat 6" weren't allowed a full discount, this year you could only get 25% off those.

Eyelet shape. Top has "bolt-shaped" metal grommets, and lower has regular circle eyelets aka the real classics. Hard to tell by pics but its there :nerd:

Man, I remember the 6" premiums retailing at $145(late 90's to mid 2000's) and most of still got them for way less then retail.. Back then you can get some 6" boots for $90 at a timberland outlet store.. I don't know anyone that paid retail for timbs, but I guess I am wrong lol. I prefer the traditional black field boots.. I think they raised the price to $150..smh. I still got my pair from 2004 and only paid $60 from the outlet store.. When I first saw that the 6" premiums inflated to $180, I was just lmao!

We get it, back in the day Timbs were cheap as ****.

People saying the same thing every few replies.

Times is changing.

But can anyone else give me insight on my little dilemma posted up there?

I wanna keep THE wheat timbs. I still cant tell the difference or whats the original.

there are plenty of Timbs you can't get at a discount if you don't want just the regular old versions such as those 40th anniversarys that Alp posted
You mean to tell me a limited release model costs more.?....... Parish the thought....
