Official Restoration Thread.

Have sole seperation on my 01 black n red xi's...the outsole is still glued to the midsole, but the midosle is seperated from the patent on the toe and half way around the sides, heel area is ok. Tips anyone? I have never glued or done any other type of major restoration so I could use some help. TIA

cool, you bought this or you made your own solution? Got some OG Flints coming in and I think they are yellowing a little, not too much tho
I bought it. Works great. You receive two 4 ounce bottles for $20 I believe. With one bottle I sauced the entire sole to three different pairs of 11's, a pair of 5's, and small touch up on shoes like the 7's above.

Hey guys what's up? I'm not sure where to post this but this is my first time doing sole swap and I thought I could get some advice before heading on. Basically I'm sole swapping for my pure money 4's with a 89's sole. The problem right now is I try to push the shoe together just to see if there's any problem, and I realized that there are small gaps when I push the upper to either the front or the back of the midsole, it's very minimal, and I was wondering will it be solved once I sewed it together.

Also on the side there are some small corners where the sole couldn't cover, should I consider painting on the upper at this point?

It'll be great if I have someone that is more experienced in this teach me a thing or two and make sure I don't mess up, thanks!

I wish I could help you but I have no idea about anything when it comes to sole swapping..

Although if theres a gap, are you sure both shoes are the same size? or maybe one could just be stretched out more than the other
Here is some touch up work I did for a friend on his Olympic 7's recently.

Quick question fam: Can I use angelus paint to paint the mesh material of a shoe permanently?
If it doesn't work, do you have any suggestions on how do I go about repainting the mesh material?

thanks in advance...

I have 2 pairs of '01 Black Cement 3's that could both do with a sole swap, and a pair of black/pink Yeezy's that need restoring...

Who would be the best person for me to go to?

How do you guys restore/repair the cracks in the black part of the soles on a pair of black/red air jordan iv?

I was thinking tape and like a marker or paint but whats the best known solution??

No other option.
Yeah, there's no other option, but if you want to just fill it in with something, try black caulk. and while you apply it, make sure your applicator or fingers are damp with water, but it's really not that great of a fix, because the crack or hole will spread further. I did this white caulk on some '94 White Cement III's and  it only lasted a couple weeks with normal wear before the creacking spread and made it worse. the sole swap is really the way to go, though.
