Air Jordan 5 Retro 'Fire Red' 2013 Vol: No 23

I'm hearing more and more people say they are passing on these for the other Fire Red 5's, that leaves me with hope that this will be an easy score.
 
^ Don't let the opinions of a few make you think this will be easy.

I still think these will be tough to get any way you look at it.

Just hope that with all the heat coming out in February, people don't come out in droves for this release.
 
There is not that many people saying they will pass on these. I am one of the few so far. Good luck to everyone getting theirs.

Like DHughes said the heat coming out from Nike and JB in February/March is too much. So that should help you out. I am getting three pairs of kicks in three weeks

gonna pass on these and wait for the other ones with the black tongue. i think those will be worth the wait.
 
5's aren't my favorites and I don't mind them, but this cw does not look good at all.
 
I'm still deciding whether I'll scoop up this release or not. I've always loved this color way and I've never owned it, but there are so many releases this year I have to prioritize big time. IMO this is the best fire red V, the black sole & reflective tongue work well. I still remember staring at these and the Black Metallic's back in 1990 trying to decide which to get, the black ultimately won out so it sure would be nice to have now. things that make you go hmmmmmmm
 
hey guys i seen a pic of the 2013 release with a orange hang tag and i just wanted to know did og v's come with a hang tag or there just adding that on now?
 
I picked up a pair of the pre-release 5s on eBay and compared them to the CDP 5s. Here are the photos I took. I took off the lace lock on the CDP so you could tell which one was which. I did note the lace lock on the pre-release was a little darker red than the CDP.

Also can one of the OGs tell me why these arent called the White Metallics? just wondering. Cuz I used to wrongly call these that for the longest amount of time when I was a kid (it just made sense to me)
