It was a Shack Stack; a typical cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, Shack Sauce but with a deep-fried and breaded portobello mushroom filled with gooey muenster and cheddar cheese.

Edit: Didn't even realize it was National Burger Day; my brother just told me.

It really is... and it's smoked bone marrow with radishes, pickled vegetables/flowers/herbs with lettuce.

one of my new favorite spots for tacos and tortas is Taco Chuki's in Capitol Hill in Seattle, WA. I was introduced to the spot by a buddy of mine, and all of their street tacos and tortas are amazing. All their tacos come with guac included, and their al pastor tacos come with a grilled pineapple slice on top. Bomb. .

carne asada and al pastor pork tortas witha side of al pastor tacos.

scallop bread pudding eggs benedict with habanero pepper roasted potatoes and arugula from Tilikum Place Cafe in Seattle, WA.

roasted pork shoulder eggs benedict with hash browns from Voula's Offshore Cafe in Seattle, WA. (cool note, their pinata benedict looks the same every single time I visit. their consistency is amazing, the pork shoulder is delicious too.)

salmon and seared salmon chirashi bowl, spicy salmon/tuna avocado roll from Musashi's in Seattle, WA. (me and my girl stop by here really often. its good and fairly price sushi, and their spicy mayo is life changing)

sticky rice shrimp dumplings and pork/shrimp dumplings in spicy sauce from Din Tai Fung in Bellevue, WA.

half & half korean fried chicken (KFC ) from Stone Korean Restaurant in Redmond, WA.

happy hour with homies. chorizo clams, chicken quesadilla, calamari & fish and chips from Indigo Kitchen in Lynnwood, WA.
