FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

I cooked some bone marrow yesterday, they turned out amazing. It was everyone's favorite item in our TG spread. :pimp:. It was more of a snack we had while cooking other food.

:pimp: @ the haute dish sighting. I'm cool with those dudes. The place I cook at swapped cooks with haute dish for two days and they ruined the bar.

Never had bone marrow before :nerd:
It's the butter of gods. Crazy to think if you order just 1 piece of bone marrow at a restaurant, it will cost you like $15. All the bones I put on my grill in those pics cost me around $13 from my butcher. :pimp:

Never had bone marrow either, always heard about it being Fergus Henderson's signature dish at his spot in London but the whole offal scene is still intimidating to me.

Rabbit kidneys, intestines of all sorts.. I admire people who love it but I'm just not mentally there yet.

Just went back a bunch in the thread.. Can't believe people don't put ketchup on hot dogs. I can't imagine having one without ketchup

I Iike ketchup + mustard combined

And you west coast dudes eating corn on the cob with mayo :x :x . I'm from Boston, this thread disappoints me :frown: so much goodness in CA it seems like

bone marrow is bomb as ****

Ketchup on a hot dog is a MUST. Only time it gets a pass is if its some sort of gourmet hot dog

If you or your fam from a third world country, you're already up on game on bone marrow. That's where the nutrients are and it tastes good :smokin

Also, ketchup on a hot dog is a must

I *** with chicken livers hard. Give me a big pile of fried livers and some vinegar and I'm chilling. My grandma put me on at like 5 years old.

Rabbit taste like chicken with more flavor. Snails are whatever to me. I could easily leave them. Rabbit though. :pimp:

Kind of want to blast some rabbit and doves and have a hillbilly cook out...

I sound foolish asking this, but how do you eat bone marrow?

Spread it on some toast. Then when the bone is empty put one end in your mouth and have the bartender dump whiskey down the bone slide, ol grandad preferably.

At least that's what happens at my job.
