Didn't even touch turkey on Thanksgiving.

Moms made pernil, arroz con gandules, and I murdered it.

She did make turkey. Just never been a fan unless I'm eating clean. Which I was not that day.

Didn't take pics, but wanted to just note that the skin on the pernil came out mad crispy and that is the most heavenly **** you can eat when it does :smokin

pernil and arroz con gondolas were two of the main attractions at my family dinner also bro.

tbh as  filipino family, we don't rock with turkey 
 
Can't imagine working at a place with a 2 hour wait. Non stop :x

From what id guess you're either busting your *** going hard as hell, or it's laid back because the customers understand, it's a God damn 2 hour wait! Lol

Nah it's dope. Just hit the bowl play some music relax and throw down. I hate when it's slow as a cook. Too damn boring, I just try and leave when it's slow. I shine when it's busy I've worked in spots serving 500 people a night. ***** fun. I mess up when it's slow because I'm not focused.

Best wings I've EVER had. Ye Rustic INN, in Los Feliz I believe. Was actually with @MECKS and JR here. Went to the bar afterwards, they were faded as hell after a couple of drinks/beers :rofl:

12 gauge, hot water and some OG's that know how to gut. Foil up the meat and cook that **** underground. It's coconut milk with chopped onions&Green peppers. Ifo aupito :smokin
