Anyone else a fan of Korean fried chicken? Went to a place called Mad For Chicken last night and our table ordered like 40 drumsticks. Best fried chicken i've ever had. I tried Korean wings before but these were next level.

where do you go for chicken?

being korean i grew up eating this stuff, its delicious. these days i dont know where to find it except at korean drinking places in Ktown LA. That being said, i havent exactly looked that hard to find good korean friend chicken so maybe its there and i just dont know it.

Andrew Zimmern is an *******. Sure, everyone has a different palate, but when he doesn't like something, he straight up disrespects the food (often considered delicacies in whatever culture) in the faces of the people that eat it.

He only does it when it's truly awful. Most of the time he politely explains why he doesn't like it.

Hope everyone is enjoying the World Cup and summer eats! First four photos are from my Texas trip to the gf.
National Donut day so I had to get a dozen at TX's Shipley Donuts. My new favorite donuts and the price :pimp:

Shrimp Tacos at this tequila lounge. Was alright but not pictured was the michelada I got. Chiva speaks the truth, micheladas are good on hot summer days and nights. Gotta kick to it

Grimaldi's pizza for a picnic. Artichoke hearts, sausage, pesto, and other veggies. Expensive... Still a Chicago Deep Dish boy though

Homemade hamburgers

Mexican seasoned salmon

White Castle Crave Case... late night shenanigans did not end well :x

Watching the World Cup and BDUBS got 60cent Tuesdays so word to Rick Ross. Fat boy need a 12 piece, LEMON PEPPER

And from Spring Awakening Music Festival in Chicago (Think EDC/Ultra) had to get some Cheesies. Their truck always comes to Loyola and these events.

That was my first time eating Korean fried chicken besides wings from Bon-chon or Kyo-chon. The Flushing area of Queens has tons of Asian food spots I need to try out. I ate at a Japanese in NYC and the wings they had were amazing too. The crunch of these Asian wings remind me of crispy pork skin.

My last trip to Club 33.(It's been a while.)

Bruh.. how!?

I am fortunate enough to have access thru my company’s corporate membership. So far I have had 3 separate lunches and 1 dinner. I highly recommend having lunch over dinner. They serve a lunch buffet included with your main course. A cold bar that consist of salads, cold cuts, cheeses, shrimp and lobster tails. Soups with an assortment of breads and crackers. And a full dessert bar with anything you can think of. Also, during the day you can see all the rare art work and décor.
But they are currently renovating so I’m not sure what the final rendition will look like.

Bon Chon is pretty good.

If you're in the bay 99 Chicken is the place for me.
