Went to a new japanese spot in coral gables over the weekend and tried out their red curry beef. I'm a fiend for curry lol

The ingredients were good (skirt steak, sweet potatoes, spinach, peppers, peas & onions) but the curry itself was decent

bruh i need that seafood sinigang recipe! i always use pork and wanna see how other people flip that recipe up and use fish/shrimp. if you could please share with us. :smokin

this thread got me craving for some food right now. That bbq brisket sandwich on the last last page actually looks good for something thats from costco.
 
 

Recipe please. 
- 1 package of dried egg noodles. use half if you're not serving many people. 1 package is quite alot of noodles. you can find these at asian groceries as "steamed chow mien"
- chicken broth. 1 entire package of noodles took me like 20 oz of broth.
- any kind of meat you like, sliced. i used boneless/skinless chicken thighs and shrimps.
- 5 cloves of garlic, chopped small. this would basically equal 1.5 tablespoons of garlic.
- bok choy, cleaned and sliced any way you want.
- tongs.
- 4 tablespoons corn starch MIXED in 1 cup of water. 
sauce -- mix these together:
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 1 tsp white sugar
- 1 tsp sesame seed oil

1. boil the egg noodles just for 1 minute. DO NOT OVERCOOK. drain and rinse with cold water to end the cooking process & to rinse away the flour that keeps the noodles together. the water should be mostly clear. 
2. fill a cooking wok with 1.5 inches deep of cooking oil. swirl to distribute the oil. heat until smoking.
3. place the boiled egg noodles in and fry until the bottom is crispy and some of the noodles are golden brown. the noodles should be a "bed" per say. use tongs to flip the noodles over if you like both sides fried. place the noodles on a large plate.
4. remove the oil, keep only like 2 tablespoons of the oil to sautee the meat. sautee the meat and garlic until thoroughly cooked. pour over the noodles.
5. boil the chicken broth and the sauce in the wok. add the veggies in and slowly add the cornstarch-water mixture and cook until the sauce is thick and the veggies are cooked. pour sauce over noodles. 
Thanks for posting this man. That noodles dish looks amazing, like out of a restaurant. Gonna have to try it out sometime
 
first time I had it was at 3pm and I didn't eat all day so I was starving and it still wasn't good.

question, when you eat steak at home, do you guys use A1 sauce? Wondering to see how popular it is. My dad uses it but it doesn't do it for me.

DAng girl, thanks for that recipe....gonna try it out weekend since I have all those ingredients at home. Gonna add some scallops with it tho

Is there a specific oyster sauce brand you use?
