GO TO EL FAROLITOS IN THE MISSION :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

you should rent a car for napa, but you can pretty much get to anywhere in the city via public transportation

hit up the mission district, downtown, or soma for the nightlife. if you are about that clubbing life, most places are free around 10-11 if you get on the guestlist

if you are in a touristy mood, visit downtown, chinatown, fisherman's wharf and lombard st (they are all around the same area)

check out a giants game

hotels....not sure, but i would probably recommend downtown also since you can basically access everything from there

i'm sure there's a lot of bay area nters that frequent this thread, but feel free to pm me if you want

I'm going to SF at the end of this month for 5 days (Saturday-Wednesday). Only plan is to visit and stay a night in Napa Valley but I just wanted to ask NT for suggestions since this is my first time there.

Places to visit?
Must eat restaurants (and should we get reservations now)?
Nightlife?
Where to stay (fisherman wharf area)?
Suggestions for Napa?

And any other ideas or tips you may have. Also, I heard SF public transportation is pretty good, I only plan to get a car for the trip to Napa but will I need it at all to enjoy SF?

Thanks brahs.

Gunning for the lazy bear, anyone been there?
Places to visit in SF: Hawk Hill (although it's considered marin), Twin Peaks, Fisherman's Wharf, Embarcadero, and DTSF.
Must eats: San Tung (Wings and potstickers), El Farolito is good, and I can give you more suggestions if you can tell me what cuisines you like.
Nightlife: I'm a low-key kinda guy, I'm ehh on the clubbing scene now haha.
Where to stay: Not in Fremont.

Some places I've highly enjoyed.

Waterbar in embarcadero ($1.05 oysters everyday from 11-530), great view...Other food I havent tried, but doesn't seem worth it. You'd be able to walk to ferry building and take a peep. And if you don't mind the trek, walk to pier 39/fisherman's wharf.

Nice coffee spots: Blue Bottle (Also in the ferry building) and Philz (Mint Mojito is killer).

If you're traveling with a lady, macarons is always a pleaser. Chantal Guillon in Hayes Valley.

Again, tell me what you like and I'll try to help accommodate to that , hope SF treats you well.

i haven't tried blue bottle yet, but i love philz. the mint mojito is a little too sweet for me. i mess with the dark roasts tho...julie's ultimate :pimp:

Definitely do not get a car rental in the city. I would rather deal with Muni than driving around looking for parking.

Thanks guys. Not much of a clubbing person but more of a sit back and enjoy the company at a bar. Going with the girlfriend so just trying to plan ahead.

Will look at the suggested restaurants. So far I got Nopa and commonwealth somewhat on the plans. Hogspoint etc for oysters. Looking for a mix of some nice (Michelin starred) and some cheap dives. Only bar I have planned, which required reservations was Bourbon and Branch.

Thanks guys, suggestions on napa as well. Keep it coming folks.

With Lollapalooza weekend over in Chicago I finally have some pics to post! Was a fun weekend but couldn't take a pic of all the festival food. Couldn't get a decent shot, always on the move.

El Chilango tacos from out here in NoVa. Truck is out in Rosslyn. I got a mixed beef and pork sausage taco, chicken taco, beef taco, and a beef tongue taco. The beef taco is underneath the others.

It was delicious. Authentic Mexican tacos.

Besides a new phone, any potential solutions?
If there is an apple store near you you can ask them to clean the camera glass (they dismantle your phone not just wipe it). Idk if they always do that but they did that with a one of my friends

Show dogs for their fried chicken sandwich and hot dogs/sausages from what I saw on DDD.

Post workout breakfast.

What you have to do is make up some sort d story that resulted in your camera clouding up. Because if you say it is water damage they will charge you.

Edit: maybe say you dropped it an the camera hasn't been the same since
