I made chicken tom yum, sans the mushrooms. And I added spinach. My parents are snobs when it comes to non-Filipino cuisine so I told them it's sinigang so they'll eat it. at least tom yum and sinigang taste similar.

Tried out a new food truck(Baba Kabob, @thebktruck) today for lunch. Angus beef kabob flat bread taco with mixed fries(regular and sweet potato) and one saffron rice ball. Taco wasn't anything special. beef didn't have the spices these middle eastern food are known for. The saffron ball was good though, should have gotten a full order.
