I dont want any part of Monte. 72 year old running a cover 2 scheme after we just traded up to get a cover corner and spent 50 mil on a cover corner... WTF are they thinking?

 :smh: Monte hasn't been able to stop college offenses. Not really a Norv fan either, been around the block too much for me. If that means Garrett will be in "walk around" mode I'll be ok with it but Monte though :x :x

Norv can call an offense just fine... He'd be a good get as OC if they decide to hire one.

Monte Kiffin, though...

I'm fine going back to a 4-3, but not Cover 2.

get some new blood in here mannnnnnn

we dont have the players to run a 4-3 right now and if the NFL doesnt give us cap space back we will be in the **** whole.

Norv play calling was bad in San diego look at the numbers for the past few years with the chargers there not that much better then the cowboys

Apparently Monte won't change over to the cover 2 scheme and will use what we have and do a base 4-3 which I think makes no sense. If thats the case just bring in a guy that specializes in that department. Why bring in a guy known for a Tamp 2 scheme and force him to do a scheme he isn't known for.

Jerry is a clown.

It's official with Monte now :x :smh: Ware and spencer gonna put their hands in the dirt now in that 4-3? Lol

Thiis dude Jerry >:

As a USC fan who personally witnessed Monte in action I wish y'all luck! Dude is beyond finished.

All we can do is pray that we bring in an OC smart enough to adjust to defenses after half time and we can put up 28ppg.

Personally, I'm all for tanking the next two seasons, as that would bring about major changes as it did when we went 5-11 three times in a row. Right now the problem is we keep remaining average which gives us "hope."

It also doesn't help that the Cowboys, once again, shattered the TV Ratings with the highest rated games this year.

http://www.dallascowboys.com/news/article-NickEatman/Cowboys-Dominate-TV-Ratings -Once-Again-With-4-Of-Top-6-/011e50dc-2bc1-4a27-8645-87f9c0140414

Until Jerry's wallets are hurting, which two 4-12 seasons would do, no real changes are imminent.

And part of me doesn't want this clown winning a SB "his way" because then he'll continue to take credit for all the things Jimmy did while he was here.

Woud have rather kept Ryan over Monte... He has a great history, but as of late he's not someone I would want running the DC position.

We need a OC big time now.

"Just Reported on ESPN: Ben & Skin Jerry/Jason meeting alone on plane

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jason Garrett and Jerry Jones had heart to heart discussion in Jerry's plane at the airport in Mobile. All of the other staff was asked to deboard so that the two parties could have a closed door discussion.

"

Take it for what its worth. Personally, I think Jerry is just telling him this is his last chance next season.

News of him leaving wouldn't even excite me. Who would replace him? No decent coach is going to come to Dallas until Jerry falls back into the back office wayyy wayyyy wayyy back office

If he wanted to fire Garrett he would have done so already. He wouldn't have fired all these other coaches and hired new ones without getting rid of the HC first.

If for some reason Garrett is fired, I actually wouldn't be pleased with that news. Garrett's playcalling is suspect but I actually like him as a Head Coach.

Can't imagine what would have happened if the Cowboys got rid of Tom Landry after his first few seasons of losing records...

Looks like it was about garrett giving up the play calling to callahan.

@jonmachota: MT @dmn_george Jason Garrett said he'd be comfortable w/ Callahan calling the plays and it would give him the chance to oversee in-game more

Brandon George ‏@dmn_george
#Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said he's had long discussions with Jerry Jones about who will call play. Still working through it, but ...

I don't know about these Hires for OC & DC, depending on who we draft this season could be a disaster

I really want Chance Warmack & Johnathan Cooper... Both will be very good Guards...

Even so much I'd give up 2014's draft to get that done.

But that's just me... And we gotta be honest each year that passes makes it another year closer to we have to rebuild.

Jay Ratliff arrested for a DWI.....

I should think this would end his time with us... But it's the Cowboys, never know what we'll do

sorry i dont like trading draft picks to move up and get a guard. you look at some of the better guards in the leauge and most got pick 3rd and 4th round. look at the pro bowl roster only 2 out of the 9 where 1st round picks.  you dont trade picks in the future to move up from 18 to pick a guard. i dont mind picking one at 18 but i sure as hell wont trade up for one.

and now with this Jay **** we need a NT

Overall, Cowboys need to stop trading up for blue chippers in the 1st and realize you can get great value later if you draft well. I mean they clearly have depth issues.
