I honestly hope we trade a next year 4th & 1 or 2 7ths for a 4th tomorrow.. Seahawks have like 4 picks in the 4th.

Sounds like it could work. I want some extra picks in the 4th or 5th. Wish we had some one to trade for more picks or something but I dont want to give away any.

Unnecessary move to trade up in the second IMO, at least throw in a 7th and get a 4th back in return .. couldve had jernigan and clarke to patch up the DL, then picked up a safety at 4 if we stayed put. Hopefully we make up for it tomorrow.

Dallas (Traded with Washington): Demarcus Lawrence, OLB/DE, Boise State: Lawrence may not have the explosive get-off that some of the other rushers in the draft possess, but he's athletic, instinctive and has a wide array of moves to get to the quarterback. Solid against the run as well. GRADE: B

Grade: Good Pick, Good Fit
Dallas Cowboys: Zack Martin (16th), Demarcus Lawrence (34th)
The skinny: After building up so much goodwill in the first round, you know Jerry Jones was going to give it away. The Cowboys paid way too much to move up a handful of spots, but at least they got a replacement for DeMarcus Ware in Lawrence.

Why This Pick Makes Sense:
Really like the pick and the value here, as Lawrence has been continually underrated since a poor combine.
One day in Indianapolis aside, he's a stud athlete who knows how to make game-changing plays. He certainly won't make people forget about the last DeMarcus in Dallas, but he'll improve the defense.

Where Things Could Go Terribly Wrong:
Some character red-flags and the thought that maybe he was just a man among boys at Boise kept some low on him.

but they weren't drafting Jernigan no way so throw that out that window, I think they would've take a WR at 47 had they stayed there

Atlanta was going to take Lawrence, truly believe that

personally I love the player, I just think losing that 3rd rounder sucks because of Terrance Brooks sitting there, but honestly other than him and a few WRs, the 3rd round when we went on the clock that board was pretty much cooked

today they have to get a WR, we need another guy there

Save WR for 7th. It's important, but isn't that important. Hell Miles is still sitting without a team can always have him as a fall back plan as our #3 WR on a 1 year deal

only safety prospect I like that is left is Marqueston Huff, I like Caruan Reid from Princeton I see him as a big 3-tech or decent 1-tech, no DEs left really, bunch of LBs left Telvin Smith would be a nice get in the 4th

RB is something to consider, bunch of guys left there

right now my prime target with the 4th rounder is DeAnthony Thomas, we need more speed
