THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

Why was ESPN making a big deal about the AP convo, when it is simply a pipe dream at this point?

Even though he deserves to, Ry Williams isn't making the team, is he?
total BS, dude looked great, instead they keep some bum QB who would've made the PS

decisions like this make me really want to stop messing with this team, their thought process sometimes is really flawed

I doubt he would have made the ps but we all have an opinion I would have kept him over last year's rook though

Is champ Bailey really done?

Flier on Sam?

Only four cornerbacks?

Kept two tackles one who never played a snap in the preseason the other who looked awful smh...

I'm curious chiacrack chiacrack why do you not like that move he really provides no value he's a fourth rb in your scenario with the QB not making the team

I wouldn't mind Sam. Team seems leveled by injuries. I think he can be a nice backup, but don't expect much more from him.

The QB would've made the PS he showed nothing in the preseason. Tanney showed more and they cut him which was moronic considering Vaughn showed less.

Doesn't matter if Williams was my 4th RB he looked good and frankly has done more than Dunbar not saying id cut Dunbar but he's done not much. Randle isn't very good either he looks better but isn't overly fast or strong.

Williams was a 2nd rd pick for a reason he's extremely talented just not durable. He deserved to make the team.

Byrd also got a raw deal Street hasn't shown much either and only made the team because he was drafted.

Carrying 4 CBs is another recipe for disaster especially considering Moore is more of a safety.

Wouldn't surprise me if they add another CB off the cuts made around the league and DE we are light there too

I hope Byrd makes the ps. Vaughn looked good up until the fourth game I though showed some playmaking ability. I also would have kept tanney last year, with Romo's health I prefer 3 qb's

I wasn't disagreeing with you if I'm in charge I keep Williams and cut randle he was complete garbage last year when he got his shot or cut Clutts

Hey what did you see in Vaughn? I saw an imobile young version of Weeden he holds onto the ball too long and is slow making decisions

Maybe I gotta go back and look at him again

I would I though he was def more mobile the weeden super quick feet for being 6'6" I believe and he has the arm hope the game slows down for him can't recall whee but he's a small school guy maybe he gets used to it maybe not (see: McGee???)

Byrd to cle one trash tackle gone hope we can shed weems as well

Will McDonald be suspended prior to the opener?

Goodell don't want no more heat from domestic violence groups, so McDonald will be suspended by 12noon Friday.
The Niners can suspend him as well before the league hands down the final decision.

I got the Eagles winning the division myself but this made me chuckle

Looks like McClain will be starting at MLB for us. Jerry put in work for that trade too.

If McClain, is not on the Cowboys' 53-man roster for five games or 46-man game-day roster for three games in 2014, then the Ravens will not receive any compensation.

As it stands right now, the trade calls for the Cowboys to give up their seventh-rounder in 2016 if McClain is on the 53-man roster for five games or 46-man roster for three games only if their pick is better than the Ravens' pick in the round. If it is, then the teams will swap selections. If the Ravens finish with a worse record in 2014, then there is no swap.

If McClain plays in 50 percent of the defensive snaps in 2014, then the Ravens would receive the Cowboys' sixth-round pick in 2015 and the Cowboys would receive Baltimore’s seventh-round pick in 2015.

I think it's wide open. Our chances aren't good, but I don't think anybody's in the division really are.

Each team has huge holes, and are an injury from a 6-10 season.

blackboyfly blackboyfly McClain didn't look like a guy who wanted to retire a year ago.
When he has been on the field it's been the Rolando McClain show.
He can come off the edge and up the middle.
Him and Bruce Carter together should be a nice tandem.
