THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

Entire loss is on him?

We were down 7-0 a minute in.

We take it down the field and pick up 3. We still came away with points. Game isn't remotely over.

Then we let Kap score in 1:26 with horrid coverage. 14-3.

Then we were a knee away from 21-3 without Romo even doing anything unreasonably wrong. Even after getting the ball back you could see morale of everybody was shot.

Instead Romo misses TW over the top in a crowd and essentially throws a pick 6. 21-3 in the first. Game was over.

Blaming Romo for the entire loss is convenient. Does he deserve blame? Yes.

His fault completely and he's why we lost?

He threw 3 picks. One in the goal line . Looked absolutely horrible.

Yeah its just one game .Nextweek it'll just be two games. Yall defending him. ..... Smh.....

I usually don't put the losses on one person but Tony Romo gotta take this L, and OWN IT.

Also, is anybody else tired of Romo making stupid faces and throwing hissy fits when he throws an incomplete or bad pass? Always blaming his damn receivers like they run the wrong routes EVERY TIME. Own up to those incompletions and INTs, Garrett preaches accountability well it starts with the QB who's supposed to be a leader.

This Tennessee game on the road reminds me of the Seattle game in 2012 & the Chiefs game last season. We should win but ya know how we do.

Yeah I'm normally one of the biggest Romo supporters but there's no way you can defend him after that game.

Difference between defending him and noticing game was over before he threw a pick.

14-3 is game over to you?

With the way the secondary played that Kap TD drive. Absolutely.

Not to mention next drive Witten fumbles for a returned touchdown. Yes we got the call on a challenge, but the morale of the team was gone by that point.

A misread on a crowd led to a Romo pick, which was returned to the 2. If the game wasn't over before that, it was over then.

Do you know that if Romo doesn't audible to a pass and get sacked, it probably is 14-7 at that point.

Regardless, your logic here is silly.

I'm done though, I can't hold a serious discussion about sports with a guy who says an 11 point lead in the 1st quarter is game over, or even a 7 pt lead if Romo doesn't audible to a sack on the goal line

According to what as far as the NFL goes? In college, yes but he hasn't proved anything yet (I want the kid to win).

if you get drafted in the 1st round I think that says you are talented

time will tell on Manziel, again I just think Dallas missed on an opportunity with a QB falling to them, next time they may not get that lucky and will have to reach or sigh trade up for one

That says you were talented in college, you know how many guys get drafted in the first round and end up not being successful? Even from his college success I wouldn't have went after johnny in the 1st Rd.

We came out with points on the board. 7-3 game isn't over.

You give up a touchdown 3 plays 1:26. 14-3. You pretty much show what you need to do on offense, be perfect.

Team fumbles again for a touchdown, you get lucky, get it back. TW is open over the top, but if I remember the replay correctly, he was behind the Dez crowd. Ball he shouldn't have thrown, gets picked. Taken to the 2. Now it's 21-3.

Here's my contention with the point you made, trying to ignore bias.... To say the loss is ALL on him. Ignores a quick down 7-0 on a turnover. A horrid pass coverage, especially on third downs. I never said he doesn't deserve blame, but his loss? Nah. There's a few HUGE things that caused it.

When Kap threw the TD, 49ers had an 83% win probability. Romo 1st pick 93%.

this.

and I am on the Manziel bandwagon too, I understand he hasn't made an impact at all but I know he could be an explosive player and that's what we need in a QB.

Chad Hutchinson.

I remember when we were on Hard Knocks, and they were doing the profile on Chad, saying he pitched in the MLB, and his only highlight was giving up a homerun, I immediately said "Oh boy, we're in trouble."

Ill be damned if i have to endure another stretch like we had after aikman retired.

*******n vinny testaverde

That's why I said Murray gonna snap one day
he will never re-sign here, personally I think he hates Romo

I knew this when in the GB game last year where they show him coming off the field on that pick late in the 4th he is screaming and takes his helmet off, if you watched that game you know exactly what i'm talking about, he was so frustrated

we're going to lose a very good player in Murray, its a shame because we drafted him and developed him
