THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

Riley Cooper is their #1 WR. LOL

Bring on the Philadelphia McCoy's.

Hope D-Jax goes to New England.
i think he's def gonna leave the nfc east.. probally go somewhere in cali since he's always there and he lives there. As much as i would like to see it, i know it wouldnt end well.. we are probally better off with drafting some wr's

lol how much success have you had since acquiring your dominant number 1 WR?  Wideout position isn't as important as a lot people think

Losing DJax is huge for the Eagles..

1. Because Foles is a bomb thrower. DJax is best on deep routes where he beats his man
2. Now you just key in on Riley. Have the safety cover over the top, and put more men in the box to focus on Shady.

Isn't Maclin coming back? Granted he's always injured

But not having one changes the dynamics of the defense and play man on (cooper) and stack the box for Mccoy (the only threat on the offense if Sproles is sidelined)

D-Jax speed was insane, Cooper or Maclin can never live up to that spot. Forever #2's

At least with Dez he attracts double or even triple coverage, and opens a welcome out party for T-Willy or easy first down to Witten.

Choose your poison with Dallas Offense.

I'm headed to the Final Four... best places to eat/drink near the stadium before/after games? Is there like a bar district or something close by? Anything cool worth doing on Sunday?

draft Avery Williamson.

draft Avery Williamson.

That place is in the middle of nowhere you can hit 6 flags and eat some pop eyes

Stay in Dallas or Fort Worth and drive to Arlington for the games... Don't stay in Arlington. Grew up there. NOTHING for anyone in their 20s to do.

If I ever went to Dallas I wanna stay at the Gaylord Texan, heard its so nice, just wish they changed that name to something better

I'm not in my 20's tho lol.

Our hotel is in Bedford, bout 8 miles from the stadium. Last minute thing, everywhere is sold out. I just need a decent bar to go to after the games.

Flying in, not driving.

If your not in your 20's and trying to hit bars here in the D I'm not 100% sure what your intentions are... either way, you can't go wrong with hitting random bars in Uptown Dallas area (2 miles North of Downtown) and then when those close at 2am hitting the strip clubs afterwards, prefer black jumpoff's? Onyx. Mexican Shawties? XTC. :pimp:

wildkycat wildkycat There's a couple of restaurants / bars near the stadium but probably pretty mundane crowds.
The city of Arlington spent all their money on the stadium.
You might as well just come to Dallas after the game and hit up some spots.

if anyone bumps into Dez down there tell him his #1 fan says hello, pretty sure he is gonna be at the games

sucks a few years ago he was at a NJ mall doing an autograph session and I didn't find out about it until a few days later, had I known I would've went

Surprisingly the events at the stadium today are free, even the PARKING.
I think this confirms Jerry has gone full time grandpa on us
Going to the All-Star Game today.
Dunk contest and 3point shoot out were last night at SMU.

What've 100% been in there trying to come up on a Duke or SMU birdie.
Lol... I'm past my 20's, dude.
Regardless of your age, the rough draft gameplan I laid out for you still applies if you're about that Weeknd life... The issue is you seem to be cemented to Arlington. If there's a Pluckers anywhere close by their Wings X Drinks are on point, plus it's a good sports crowd and vibe all around.

anyone been watching the Dallas stuff on NFL Network this week?

the 92 champ game was on followed by the Super Bowl, Jimmy Johnson narrates the Super Bowl, dude was such a G, he's like (this isn't word for word just basically what he said though)  "Honestly I wasn't even nervous for this game because I truly felt our big test was the game before at San Francisco, I believed in our team. Even after the turnover and Buffalo grabbing a lead I didn't care, we were the better team and it was only a matter of time before we forced them to make mistakes"

what I didn't know was that Dallas had the #1 ranked defense that year, crazy how good that team was

Alvin Harper man was underrated the leaping grab he had where Aikman underthrew him and he came down with and the 70 something yard post he caught to seal the game, wow

I see a little bit of Alvin Harper in Terrence Williams

I actually ran into him during his second Northpark mall incident, he was running around. Nearly scared me to death seeing a 6'2 dude run full speed in your direction. Cool guy.

So glad he got his head on straight and realized he's a football player not a wanna be rapper/hoodlum.
