THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

Is it just me or do these refs look lost out there?

Refs been meh.... Im more concerned wit the pace of this game and the lack of energy by us so far. I thought we'd come out a little more fired up against this division rival.

DeMarco over 100 again.

Nice win.

Romo and Dez beasted in the 2nd half.

Murray did his thing.

Defense with some nice strips.

Gotta do better with the penalties.

Too early to take a few laughs at the NFL Predictions thread or nah?

Honestly, these guys on this forum take **** way too seriously from Cowboys fans. The same **** that gets spewed year in and year out from other teams fanbases don't get the same treatment as we do. So at the end of the day, I'd point and laugh at whoever in that thread, especially since I remember them going particularly hard at LarryDavid and GMsboy for believing we'd be better this year. All it'll do is force them to watch our games every Sunday (as they already do), giving us the highest rated games as usual, and then *****ing about the Cowboys being Americas Team.

You can feel the anger when the Cowboys win, and people reach for the stars with a rebuttal i.e. "B-b-but wait until December!."

EDIT: What's the URL for that thread?

The first quarter of the Niners game this season had more Posts than all of our other games combined in their entirety. These dudes go completely ghost during our W's and come right back as soon as the game is over. It's hilarious to me

We're right in the stretch now where all of us talked about us stringing some games together even before the season started..... With how we're playing now... And this cupcake schedule over the next few weeks, we'll be hearing "Wait till January" for a while. Will be all dudes can say.

The bolded is the best part of being a Cowboys fan. Because when the day comes when we finally get #6, I kid you not, people are going to slit their wrists/murk Cowboys fans. It's going to be a lot of emotionally hurt people over football. The hate is so serious. I love it

After "wait til January" and if we win the first round, people will clown the fact that we've won 2 playoff games now.

The thing that is HILARIOUS to me is that playoff wins have now become some sort of standard for a teams success. But that's only because people cherry pick what fits their agenda. Superbowl wins have always been the standard for the Cowboys. Anything less is a failure in the franchise's eyes. That's why despite holding every statistical record in for a Cowboys QB, Romo's going to be looked at as a failure and won't be in the ROH whereas guys like McTie are put on this pedestal in cities like Philly where SB's are not common [at the moment].

 I said this before but if we win another chip I will probably be shot or stomped out to death the amount of **** I will be talkin. Especially in the Philly/Tri-State area.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves saying a cupcake schedule.

Edit: to the football minds, What do we need to do to get more pressure on the QB? I think/assume we are not blitzing like crazy which is saving us from getting our DBs exposed, but no pressure is gonna bite us soon. Our LBs are doing great in coverage 'help' but again...qb pressure?

vs. Washington (Average Defense both Run & Pass, Have to rely on pass with a mediocre QB)
vs. Cardinals (Best Rushing Defense, but can't hang with us Offense vs. Offense. Limit mistakes, and D only need to be decent to stop their Offense)
@Jags ( :lol: )
Bye Week
@Giants (No running game, horrible on the pass, bad on the run, Beat them getting 0 pressure on Eli. Even some pressure on Eli would make it unwinnable for NYG)
vs. Eagles (Toughest games we'll play. Offense can get out in a hurry, so likely will be a shootout. Will need 30+ rushes from DeMarco to keep the D off the field. We could have a slight edge because we both play 4 days before, but we have a bye week 11, and the Eagles play.)
@ Bears (To win, will need to keep pressure on Cutler. Has shown he still can't handle pressure)
@ Eagles (Toughest games we'll play. Offense can get out in a hurry, so likely will be a shootout. Will need 30+ rushes from DeMarco to keep the D off the field)
vs. Colts (Might be a penciled in loss. Great Offense, well above average defense)
@ Washington (Average Defense both Run & Pass, Have to rely on pass with a mediocre QB)

Week 13-16 looks most interesting.

But in all honesty, we have a chance to win 8 of the last 9 games. Assuming health of course.

I think heading into the bye at 8-2 would be great, that Arizona game is going to be for us. After the bye things get tough.

We are going to need to get some kind of pass rush, rush 4 just isnt cutting it. Hopefully Lawrence coming back will help but we are going to need to get a rush. Carr looked lost yesterday :x

8-2 going into the bye would definitely be a good look. as for yesterday, it was great to see we were able to come back after that nice seattle win & get a division win as well... great set of back to back wins.

murray just keeps dominating... seven straight 100 yrd games :x :pimp:

as dominate as he has been though, i hope we can get him some rest & get a little more of a rotation going with our backs. its tough when he's been this good, but with his injury history, (& that scare yesterday) we need him to last the whole season.

It seems like when we take Murray out, all we do is run sweeps. Defenses gonna figure it out.
