THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

What honestly goes on in that locker room at half time that gets us fired up that we can't do before the game?

I wish I shared your optimism GM. But with the way this defense got gashed by Bryce Brown, I don't see how we can beat Pitt, Cincy, and Nawlins.

I hope I'm wrong but its looking like a 7-9 season.

i almost teared up, great win

Say what you want about Garrett, but he keeps us in games no matter who the opponent. Somehow we always have the will to fight back when down.

Murray back at practice. 6-0 when he gets 20 attempts. Long layoff means he's rested up.
We're making the playoffs.

7-0

- 8-0
- Punt team :x horrible out there. We were top notch before that return by philly and now this game (near blocks, terrible kicks. This needs to be fixed and they've already shown that they can be great, no excuses.
- oline, my goodness they did well at first but then fell off a cliff. I'm hoping that was more just Cincy's beast d-line.
- Defense way to not break but still, need to tighten up.
- Receivers were bad today. Way to many drops. I'm thinking Harris should be the third over Ogletree. Ogletree has been really bad for a while now. Miles needs to step it up.
- Please stop getting hurt, it's getting bad
- Overall, way to come through for Jerry Brown (RIP). The statement by his family even extending their prayers to Brent was real touching. That's a strong unit.

Just finished the game.. Great comeback..

Gotta improve both lines.. It's bad out there. :smh:

And punt team couldn't have been worse.

Going to have to run the table to make it looks like.

o-line problems still prevalent :smh: granted, the bengals have a very good d-line.
dez continuing to show out. good for him. he catches a lot of slack for no real reason. people just love to hate i suppose.
lot of things to fix if you want continued success, good teams wont blow that game the way the bengals did.
great job closing out on defense though, especially with guys hurt.

It's because he's not "a model citizen." That's the only real reason.

I think that is nonsense, but that's how people are I guess.

Giants have Atlanta, Baltimore and Philly left. I wouldn't be surprised if they drop two of those games. Philly will love nothing more than to play spoiler and they can play 'relax free' so to speak being that their playoff chances are over.

Atlanta will look to bounce back after a loss as well being that the Niners won. I'm sure they want homefield.

It's very possible we win out but I don't see us winning 3 in a row. Too many injuries on defense and the oline can't protect Romo at all.

With Murray back, anything is possible though. Dez has been lighting it up. 1 more TD and he'll be in double digits for the first time of his career.. :smokin

Yeah, they're playing away for the Baltimore and Atlanta games which is good. Atlanta and Baltimore are so much better at home.
And the Eagles game is no lock. That would be such a boost. Eagles ******* up their draft position and keeping the Giants down for us.

We gotta do our part though.

Interesting schedule for the Giants ocming up... I can see them losing against Atlanta (especially after yesterday), & the Philly & Baltiore games could go either way. You never know what you'll get with the Ravens & Philly could easily play spoiler.

Cowboys have 3 very winnable games coming up :nerd:

As for yesterday, we started off rough... A lot of drops, our D was letting them walk all over us, & our offense just had a tough time moving the ball up field. They ended up stepping it up with that huge Carr interception & from there the D did a lot better & we moved the ball a lot better (especially on that last drive). Dez cookin once again :smokin

Good to see Dallas pull out a nice come from behind win :nthat:

I'm cooking up some posts for all the naysayers about Romo and his "December woes" btw. Yesterday marks Romo's 17th 4th quarter comeback. Would have been 19 if Bailey makes that kick in the Ravens game, and Dez Bryant cuts his finger nails (Giants).

He can possibly play with his fingers taped up though.

"Archer reports that the "best case scenario" is Bryant will be able to play through the injury with his "fingers taped for the rest of the season," delaying surgery until the offseason. In a worst case scenario, Bryant would be done for the year immediately if the hand specialist determines he could do further damage to the finger"

^^ Im hearing the same reports too. ESPNDallas saying it could be days before a decision is made. I get the feeling he might be able to play...

If there is a God...

Injuries have killed us this year. Dont really know whats up with the injury bug.

Anthony Spencer has been playing great recently, he's going to be looking to get paid this offseason, by us or someone else.

Its hard to get mad at Rob Ryan when most of his starters on injured.

Hate to hear about Dez being hurt, dude is playing great lately.

I have so much respect for Romo playing behind that line, they are awful smh

Dont know how credible this guy is...

Confirmed: #Cowboys' receiver Dez Bryant has torn ligaments in his finger and will have season-ending surgery, be placed on IR.

That was reported waaay early by Richie and has since beebn devoid. As of right now, there is no confirmation since he's seeing a specialist as we speak. ESPNDallas reporting it could be days before a decision is made and they are leaning more twards him playing with it wrapped up if no further damage can be done.

Calvin Watkins Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins

I think Dez will try and play with this fractured finger but finding a good splint and his pain tolerance is a factor

Terrible timing with this injury... Not only with there being 3 games left in a tight NFC East, but with how well Dez has been playing lately.

Dez Bryant just spoke to a member of 'The 75-Member Staff' and put into words his powerful desire to continue playing for the Cowboys despite his serious finger injury.

"It would take more than this to take me out,'' Dez said, in a sense angry at being given an initial no-go by team doctors. "No way. They'd have to break my leg to keep me out."
