THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

Who is trading TWO 2nd rounders and a 4th for the 16/17th pick in the first round? That's something New England can pull off, not Dallas.
If they were playing a good team I would be out there. Not spending any money to watch us play Jacksonville regardless of location

I was thinking the same thing but England is one of my top destinations now as I've been to various parts of South America already and planning a trip to Ibiza. I also make it a habit of going to a Cowboys game in Dallas at least once a year but this way I sort of kill two birds with one stone. I know technically its not a home game, but being able to watch the Cowboys and see one of my top destinations is :smokin for me.

For the record, the Cowboys are 0-6 when I attend their games

Thought we were going to break the streak against Denver last year...

I'm more than likely going to London, will make the trip to Dallas for the Sf game as well(with 20+ 9er fans) also thinking about the Seattle game as well if my funds/timing is right.

5-2 at cowboys games Atlanta was my first loss I traveled to and it killed me.

:smh:

Let's get that top 8 draft pick next year and get our QB of the future.

I'm expecting an epic meltdown similar to 2010 early and Garrett getting the axe midseason.

As if we needed more bad news, Demarcus Ware will be restructured instead of taking the aforementioned paycut. :smh:

jerry is letting his pride get in the way and doesn't want to fire kiffin, what a idiot

we don't have the DL to get away with playing a Tampa bay cover 2 and the CB we have cover better in man then they do zone. MO played at an elite level at LSU playing man, carr was better in man durning his KC years and his 1st year with us, draya played his best ball this year when we played man and not zone.

I doubt it. This ain't Wade Phillips coaching.

Wade Phillips uses Twitter to express disappointment over not getting any coaching interviews

this team cannot compete with Seattle, noooooo way

they are so far away from being a complete team like that, you watch Seattle and you just see a nearly complete football team, really all they need is a legit #1 WR

The WR position is overrated. Maybe in a non-salary cap era position wouldn't be overrated but with the salary cap, #1 WR's are expensive.

Seattle is very good, I expect it to be a very close Super Bowl and think they may win.

I'm not overrating or justifying the whole #1 WR thing but when you look at that roster really that's the only thing they don't have. TE is another but that offense the TE usually blocks.

Den vs Sea is the best matchup we could ask for it's the best offense vs the best defense

Yea, I see what you are saying when looking at the whole roster.

that team is stacked, DL and OL, then look at their LBs and Ss

they built that team up Seattle was pretty bad when Carroll came in there

if they had a Dez or Demariyus they would be unstoppable

Seattle will pull away in the second half.
Hopefully Peyton doesn't get hurt, because Seattles d-line is ferocious!
Would be a bad way to end his career.

assembling my big board here are a few quick takes, gonna do it by grades again 1st 2nd and 3rd round

not a great class, weaker than last year IMO, a lot of good depth rounds 2-3 again

QBs I got Bridgewater, Bortles and Manzel, giving all three first round grades, though Manzel is major boom or bust material

Aaron Donald is my #1 rated defensive tackle, my clear cut favorite for us at 16/17. I am much higher on Donald than others, currently I have him as a top 15 player. Pound for pound, inch for inch, that guy is a stud. Hageman I did have above Donald, but I am dropping him slightly behind Donald. Really like him, but Donald has the production and that slightly grades out more in my book also because he is "quick twitch". Donald is quick off the line, Hageman isn't as quick or fast.

I currently have Ha Ha as my #1 rated S, Pryor behind him but I am just beginning to review him and so far I like Pryor a lot, very complete safety. Actually a pretty good safety class.

Pretty good WR and RB class, could be good options later. Also a good TE class, they should've taken one this year not last year.

Marcus Spears was on the ticket not too long ago.

Quick summary:

Team has no identity

Major problem in Dallas' failures/shortcomings is players do not know who is in charge

Jerry runs everything, from whos calling plays to hiring assistants

Says Jerry hired Rob Ryan

Players loved playing for Rob

Said when he was with the Ravens he only saw Steve Biscotti once, basically saying you cannot be a GM and owner. And that is how you run an organization (like Baltimore) where the owner is the owner

Once again reiterated Jerry undermines headcoaches; states Garrett is a good coach but is limited in one he can do

He's really going in on Jerry

Basically only confirms everything we already knew...

The problem is Jerry. It always has been.

Marcus Spears?

dude is the JAG of JAGS

can I submit my draft card now? with the 16th or 17th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Dallas Chia's select Aaron Donald DT University of Pittsburgh

He's definitely a JAG but he didn't say anything we already didn't know and I'm sure its all 100% true.

BTW, Sean Lee in the courtroom on the deliberation of Josh Brent. Dude is a leader on the field and off.

Wonder where the rest of his teammates are, including the ones that were in the club with him...
