THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

Dante Rosario traded from Dallas Cowboys to Bears for 2014 7th round pick.
Jerry trading players and getting picks instead of letting them hit the waiver wire.
Told yall Jerry is dialed in this year. Stadium is taken care of and now he can focus on football.
Also his daughter is helping now, and I'm sure she brings some fire to the boardroom.
She used to be over the cheerleaders and word on the streets was she didn't take no s**t.
Here's an article on her, Charlotte Jones Anderson

:nthat: at the work dallas has been putting in the past couple seasons through the draft... good to see we're building for the future, while still being able to compete every year.

From Dallascowboys.com:

Rookie center Travis Frederick switched to his college number, No. 72, after the Cowboys cut their roster down for the regular season. Garrett said he hasn’t been surprised, but impressed by Frederick’s performance since he came to the team.

Meanwhile, guard Ronald Leary checked back into practice for the first time in several weeks as the Cowboys began preparation for the season opener against the New York Giants. The Cowboys began their morning session with Doug Free and Mackenzy Bernadeau starting at guard before Leary shuffled into the lineup at right guard. Leary took snaps with both Free and Bernadeau.

Gonna add it to the OP.

The Cowboys have trailed in the fourth quarter in 18 of Romo's 55 wins. His fourth quarter stats in comebacks: 140-206, 1881 yards, 15 touchdowns, 2 Interceptions, 117.0 Quarterback rating

Romo also has thrown 56 touchdowns in the fourth quarter, more than he has in any other quarter

Highest all-time fourth quarter QB rating: Tony Romo 101.9, Aaron Rodgers 100.2, Steve Young 97.9, Tom Brady 92.4, Kurt Warner 91.9.

I've said it before, the ONLY time I've seen Romo actually 'choke' was last year against Washington. With his WR corps and defense decimated I think Romo got rattled realizing he'd have to literally win the game by himself and just threw up a prayer

Dudes is money in the clutch 9.8 times outta 10.

We signed Brian Watters!!!!!! Smith - Leary - Fredrick - Watters - Free

We actually have above average players at every Oline position :wow:

They said dude wasn't about to do the training camp routine or play any preseason games.
So if he signed it would be right before the season started.
Jerry and the gang are making things happen.

more people need to see this... it's easy to point out when romo has failed in the clutch, but so many people over look the fact that he's the one that leads us to wins & game deciding drives when we've been down in the 4th.

that o-line is looking promising :smokin

Waters said he needs a week to get ready so we should see him week 2.

Im so ready for Sunday it doesnt make any sense :pimp:

A Tony Romo with time in the pocket = alot of upset Romo haters.

No reason this can't be a top 8 scoring offense if Romo has protection. Could see him with 34+ Touchdowns this season.

Waters signing is perfect. I would have prefered Brandon Moore but he pulled a fast one on us.

That Romo stat is something I've been preaching from the beginning of time but no one wants to hear that. We have to win a SB. its the only way. I swear the Romo hate is on par with Lebron with him "not being clutch."

As hard as that **** is sometimes, you gotta put that outta your mind on this site. Learn it the hard way when you defend him tooth and nail and he either ***** the bed or does everything in his power to carry the team and they still lose and you end up dealing with a bunch of dudes who don't care what his role was, only that they lost.

If it's one thing the Chiefs have done well the last 10yrs, it's running the ball.
Don't know much about Moore, but if he can help us run the ball he is a welcome addition.

I knew I wasn't stupid in thinking our coaching staff was this stupid to think our current O-line situation was fine. With Leary's uncertainty, Waters is a very good pickup. He probably won't start until week 2, but in any case, our line cannot possibly be any worse than it was last season.

10-6 is a very good possibility, with 12-4 not being too far fetched. I see us splitting with everyone in the division with the exception of the Giants, a loss to GB, and a loss to New Orleans.

BTW, any of you guys gonna be at the Broncos/Cowboys game? I'm flying down from NY Oct 5th. First time in the billion dollar stadium.

Bro everybody likes Dez. Kid from the inner city that beat the odds.
With Callahan calling plays anything is possible.

If they can hold up in the trenches on O and D. They win atleast 10. There as strong as any team in the league on the outside on both sides of the ball.
