THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

I give 0 blame on Romo.

500+ yards, 5 TDs. He shouldn't have to lead the team to a GW drive.

Not to mention the 2 plays (play before and the pick) were awful pass protections.

That game was all on the defense.
This and what the flip is Monte doing that we can't keep somebody on a RB comming out the backfield?

Sigh.

Cowboys lose by 3 points. Broncos score a TD of a  Dez fumble and the game winning FG of a Romo pick.

Romo was superb this game (for 58 minutes he was flawless), but he seems to have a knack for making the biggest gaffes at the most crucial moments.

It's uncanny.

That said, if it wasn't for Romo's exploits the game would've been a blowout.

Cowboys' defense is basura.

Yeah old man Monte got us looking like trash and if we don't have those two dez romo turnovers we don't lose but that was tough.

But what defense has stopped that Broncos offense this year tho..
Its not that but its stuff like stopping rbs out the backfield that killed us too many times and that shouldn't happen IMO. Maybe I'm wrong though the other stuff like them picks I swear the nfl needs to start calling. Is this the nfl or the nba?

as a die hard fan who didn't see a romo turnover coming tho? I know my team I sure as hell saw it coming from a mile away

but with 48 points on the board we shouldn't need romo leading us on a game winning drive. that's 48 ******g points. I do like the D when to more man today but DL gave us zero help all ******g game

ware was MIA all game, if dude is hurt put him on the bench. ware has been just like romo in the 4th for years and know where to be find when we need him the most

Yea you got a point about Moreno. I was like wtf its like we didn't even care about defending the run.

I really don't know how to feel right now. I wanna blame Romo so bad but if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have even been in the game. I love the guy. I had to endure a bunch a bad qbs before Romo showed up.

I should feel good because we boxed toe to toe with a juggernaut of a team and could have had it. When the rest of the league has gotten blown out by them.

Being a Cowboys fan is a crazy ride

I understand that.

This defense was touted as being much improved compared to Rob Ryan's last year, and five games into the season I'm not seeing it.

Eli, Rivers and Manning have eviscerated this defense and we still have to deal with the likes of Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees.

Mike made a good point. Donde esta DeMarcus Ware? Seems like the only time I hear is name is when he commits an offsides penalty.

I thought dude was gonna feast in the 4-3, but that hasn't been the case 5 games into this season.

He needs to step up, along with the rest of this defense.

Did somebody say Rob Ryan? Coulda swore he was 5-0 & his defense was the 5th best in the league. Guess that's what happens when you leave Dallas.

Ryan was a scapegoat for last season and didn't deserve to be fired

disappointed but I thought we were gonna get blown out so I'm not mad, just frustrated with Romo balling out all game and doing that with the game on the line, sucks

Dez boss status though, can't hold him son

T Will great game kid

Yeah I expected to lose the game, just mad that we lost that way. I am much much more confident about the O tho. I know Denver doesn't have the best Defense in the world but we were w/o Miles and out up 50.

Hate to say it but the offense looked way better without Miles out there. Maybe Miles just doesnt have it anymore.

Game over. They gon run clock out. Good job Denver. Typical Tony.

51 points allowed, and everyone is going to blame Romo, and rightfully so :smh: :smh: :smh:

Typical Romo... Best game in franchise history cut the crap bro, defense lost this game.

With four minutes left why not try and run the ball? Take some of the pressure off of tony? Kill the clock?

I don't believe in moral victories but this game shows the team they can score whenever they focus.

Rob Ryan hasnt seen a decent offense yet he will get exposed

Dez did have that bad fumble, just putting it out there...

Hopefully our offense plays like this the rest of the year.

Im with you guys on Ware. Its time for him to step up and ball. D-line got no push today

No one wants to say it but Ware hasn't popped up in the fourth quarter of a close game since that Saints game in the 09. But dude is on that list of unslanderable Cowboys along with Witten  so no one mentions it

Dez will be on that list soon :nerd:.

[emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji] Dallas prays they could beat N.O. I know you saw what ya boy said.

To be fair to the DL Peyton was getting rid of the ball in less than 2.5 seconds most passing plays. Any QB will carve you up if you sit back. Seemed like we had more success when we zone blitz. Speaking of Rob Ryan, maybe we could have used those exotic blitzes and personnel packages today. Depending on what Peyton has around him i think that type of D might be more effective against him. Anyway, we just needed more from our D today, Romo cant do everything.

tough to go out on the INT like that... i can't even be mad though because romo played his heart out all game. besides that pick (& don't get me wrong it was crucial & disheartening), if it wasn't for him, we would've been no where near as close as we were in this game. besides that mo pick, our defense did us NO favors today.

witten, williams, & beasley came up with a lot of big plays today for us. & dez is just a monster :smh: :pimp:
