Worst part about Miles never being healthy.. Is how much easier it would make things for Dez if he was marginally healthy

Yep. With the way Beasley and Williams are playing Dez would go off against the coverage he'd receive if Miles was also producing.

Lets not act like Wilcox was Troy Polamalu back there. He hasn't been all that great this year. We''ll start Heath in his place.

Will Allen resigned with the Steelers by the way.

MPire, It's Danny McCray we're talking about :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: Wilcox wasn't lighting the world on fire but he was decent for a rookie. With him out its either Wilcox or another rookie who's played like 15 snaps in his short career so far. I've never seen Danny McCray make a play on defense in my life. Ever. Dude shouldn't have a job.

But he is young and getting better game by game, hence the jump over Will Allen. As far as his technique as a safety he was showing good read & react skills(critical to the position), taking good angles, he will go up for the ball, and good tackling in general(yes, key misses in Philly).

Getting closer to the end of the season I think we would have seen the beginnings of a top safety tandem in the league.

for a guy coming from a D3 school and very little experience at S, Wilcox has been very good

he's giving us a lot of range back there, something neither S besides him on the roster has, he is a very big loss

you're looking at McCray and Heath as the only guys to play besides him and that is not good

If an MCL sprain is similar to an ACL sprain then recovery should take no more than 2-3 weeks with the type of rehab and equipment that the NFL facilities have. I sprained my ACL my first year in college and I was back after 4 weeks with little rehab treatment at an NAIA school. As long as he doesn't allow his leg to become stiff (he won't) he should be ok.

Shouldn't be out but two games and that's only because it just happened.
Wilcox is young and should heal quick.
We can beat Detroit without him.
The Tampa 2 coverage will cause Stafford to hold the ball longer and allow the rush to get to him.

we haven't really been playing much Tampa 2 bro, a lot of man to man coverage

Kiffin has been running more man because he realizes our corners are better suited for that

BTB did a post earlier in the week showing that we barely even play with 3 line backers  we're playing more of a 4-2 scheme. Give credit to the staff for adjusting to the players. I still think we'll get closer to a true Tampa 2 style as the players learn the scheme. But if the last two weeks are any indication, there's no reason to rush learning it. They can take their time and allow these corners to play man. Carr and Scandrick have been awesome. Mo got alot better too when they started playing man.

I absolutely love Lee. great player and appears to be a good leader....he's young too!

i have not came to that conclusion...but we are improving...but without a better pass rush, all will be BAD

Jerry Jones let Wade Phillips family use his personal jet to fly to their fathers funeral. Say what you want about him, but he's a great person and class personified.

I think y'all being too hard on Heath as far as from what I've heard dude isn't that bad and he did get some snaps last week and I don't remember him so for know that's good enough for me. I think Escobar can play at least from a catching part just hasn't got that many chances with Witten here but also thought we were going to be like NE with Gronk/Hernandez. Guess they threw that in the bushes for now lol.

It's Saturday and time to make your predictions. I'll start it off.
I got Cowboys 27 - Lions 20.
4th quarter, game tied at 20 all, 5:17 on the clock, Cowboys ball on our own 15yd line.
Heavy dose of Murray on 1st and 2nd down, with short passes to Dez and Witten on 3rd downs to move the chains.
Get inside the red zone and Cole Beasley takes a bubble screen and weaves his way into the end zone for 6.
Lions return the kick off to the 35, and Stafford gets the ball back with 1:48 on the clock.
Our defense stops them on downs with a sack by Jason Hatcher to seal the deal.

31-28 Dallas. Dez has a better game than Megatron but Reggie Bush kills us. TWill continues his TD streak and Dez has at least 2 TDs.
