The typical why are they America's Team stuff & how bad our D is
Him & Stephen.

Skip tried, but he was outnumbered

And Terrance Mitchell can play in the nickel if needed with Scandrick out. He's ready, and can't believe Dallas nabbed him in the 7th round. If you care about coverage metrics, he was right up there with Dennard, Gilbert, and Verrett statistically.

Eh Mitchell is a walking penalty we'll see though the team likes him though

Carter is such a disappointment, he looks disinterested out there and he has the physical tools but the motivation just isn't there

Take a look for Mitchell.

Carter is a guy that relies too much on God-given talent and raw athleticism. If he is mental approach and work ethic change/improve, he can be a beast and absolute force for the Cowboys.

I agree, Carter just doesn't have that stuff down though and I believe this is his contract year too

Interesting article about Mitchell, much more intrigued now. Just by watching him, he's a penalty waiting to happen, needs to refine that technique and calm down a bit

Scan is bunz...

Last year's random flashes aren't fooling me, I attribute that to getting swallowed whole by Draya before and after games... now that she's gone and in light of him poppin molly's fairly often considering it generally gets out of your system in 72 hours, he'll be back to the Orlerference Scandrick shortly. No doubt in my mind.

If true this is terrible news, what makes you say this? I haven't seen him enough of him this year to gauge one way or the other...

I see a lot of potential in Mitchell, dude's hungry.

I watch the games on Rewind, he's a player I focal point on a lot

since last year, he's be lost out there and not hustling, compared to his best season of his career when Lee went down in Rob Ryan's last season, Carter was IMO our second best defensive player next to Hatcher, he balled the **** out man, he was flying to the ball, evident by the Atlanta game, he was all over the field

this pre-season game granted one game, same thing I saw last year, looks lost and confused and completely disinterested, no HUSTLE, on the backside jogging

if this dude went back to the 2012 version of himself, he would be amazing

I'm hearing Mitchell has been inconsistent in practice. The front runners for the mickle are BW and Moore. Doesn't look good for a D that is without their best 4 defensive players from last year and top rookie and was one of the worst defenses in the history of the franchise.

Moore was honey buns in New England. Don't know if he improved that much in Dallas.

I gotta disagree. Scan was arguably our best defensive player last year. Him or hatcher. I give scan the nod, because he played all 16.

As far as Bruce Carter. Dude has all the measurables to beast. I can't get over last year and Danny wood head tho. And having Ernie sims take his job.

I think it says a lot that Bruce was the first linebacker on the bench when the coaches were giving McClain first team snaps in practice at the mike.

Kyle Wilber gon make a name for himself this year.

Wilcox has the physical tools.

Still takes bad angles, misses more tackles than he should.

Still young at the position tho, so there's room to grow.

And I feel u on the Barry church love sneakerhead. Dude is the truth and a sure tackler.

Don't get me started on Eric Reid......

Wilcox has the tools but is more of a Dashon Goldson thumper we need a FS

Damontre Moore should've been our pick but Wilcox will be solid

Don't get me wrong, Scan did great and all in certain spot but ever since this dude has been on the Cowboys he's been a model citizen of inconsistency. He just doesn't have it, I have zero confidence and am scarred from dude since those 2011-2013 years :smh: I legit thought he was the worst corner in the league, let alone that got PT.
