Another fumble, Cowboys in midseason form.

On a brighter note, the chemistry between Dez and Romo has improved by leaps and bounds.

Dez might replace Witten as Romo's security blanket.

Dez might replace Witten as Romo's security blanket.

So far this preseason he is gobbling up everything thrown his way, no giving the defenders a chance.

Those fumble calls on Dez and Dunbar are wrong.
And then they blow the quarterback fumble call.
These refs are wack.

The trust between Dez and Romo is a great thing to see.

Dunbar is fast as hell

Sucks we lost Albriight for the year

Im ready to get to the regular season :pimp:

After seeing a better angle of Dunbars fumble, the ball was definitely coming out before his forearm hit the turf.
Romo needs to work with Williams so we don't have to see anymore overthrown touchdowns.
Seen way too many of those from Romo over the years.

all those turnovers :x :x

still, even with all of them, our D only held AZ to 12 points, so that's something to look at.

the chemistry so far with romo & dez has me excited to see what kind of #'s these two can put up this year.

Dunbar sprained his foot on that long RAC.
They aren't sure he will be back for the September 8 opener.

With all the season ending injuries happening this year...

randles and other minor injuries the cowboys suffered in training camp are a blessing...

Just  wait some odd week type of injuries I am content with.

They have him wearing a boot, and I'm sure that's to keep him off the foot.
Should allow Randle and Tanner more touches this week against Cinncy.

Frederick, the "third or fourth round talent" that Dallas "overdrafted" has only allowed one QB hurry in 125 snaps this preseason. No qb hits, no sacks :smokin

Did anyone ever ask Monte Ball or Russell Wilson what they thought about Travis Frederick?
He blocked for both of those guys at Wisconsin.

Yall seen the schedule? If Dallas can beat the teams they're supposed to and the Broncos it's not out of the realm of possibility that we start off 5-0, 8-0 if they can beat the Skins at home and Eagles/Lions on the road  both very possible :nerd:

Home VS NYG 1-0

Away at KC 2-0

Home vs SL 3-0

Away vs SD 4-0

Home vs Broncos (sans their pass rush, no Von Miller :nerd:) 5-0

Home vs Washington 6-0

Away vs Philly 7-0

Away vs Lions 8-0

Home vs Vikings 8-1

Granted I can see things going down hill after that in typical Cowboys fashion :smh:

Away at NO 8-2

Away at Giants 8-3

Home vs Raiders 9-3

Away at Chicago 9-4

Home vs GB 9-5

Away at Was 9-6

Home vs Philly 10-6

:nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

Could possibly only have two wins in those final 7 games :smh:

Still could be good enough to win the division

We have to sweep someone and split everyone else at least.

Only two more wins than last year, if everyone stays healthy that's basically adding Sean Lee/Jay Ratliff another 10 games, Barry Church 14, Bruce Carter 8, Demarco Murray 6,Anthony Spencer 3 and a healthy D Ware for 8 more games.

Not to mention an easier schedule and adding an elite Dez Bryant another 8 games. Plus the progression of Mo/Carter/Smith etc. Those factors can result in two more wins

Why am I getting my hopes up

Your predictions didn't take into account Romo plays lights out in November.
So there's a good chance we will have two or maybe even three more wins.
Also, offensive coordinators are going to have a hard time with our defense because of the athleticism of our linebackers.
Double team D Ware and Sean Lee is going to wreak havoc.
Bruce Carter doesn't miss tackles and the d-line has looked good this preseason.

I'm trying to be pessimistic while being optimistic

Honestly I think they'll get two wins from playing Chicago, Nola, Green Bay and Minnesota. Probably will lose one to SD, SL and Detroit.

But I'm confident in my earlier predictions.

I hate to look at the schedule more than 4 weeks at a time, damn sure don't like doing so in the preseason. With that said... Cowboy Nation, barring injuries to one of our top 5 players, we will be in the super bowl.

It's not going to be easy, it won't be a smooth ride, but we will get there.

^^^^^ I'm not that confident

If everyone stays healthy and the line keeps playing the way it had been I do think they're in the divisional playoffs at least. Don't know why people act like the DLine will be a problem. Since when does a unit consisting of Ware, Spencer and Ratliff plus Hatcher be considered a problem

Without writing a novel I'll just say...

As most people know in here, I'm not even a Romo fan... but in the past this team has gone and as far as he could take them.
This will not 100% be the case this year, with the new scheme, our defense will be top 10.
There will be a few games this year they will be dominate and lead us to victory, when Romo isn't forced into Lebron in Cleveland mode early and often he's the goods. :pimp:

This is our year to stay healthy.
No way we have as many significant injuries this season.
Having Barry Church back is HUGE!
Will Allen is a nice addition to the secondary.

Jerry the GM has been putting in work.
Got his stadium filled every week of the year.
Won the rights to host the first NCAA Championship game.
Starting this year all the high school football state title games will be played in the stadium.
AT&T is paying $25mill a year for the naming rights to the stadium.
He's moving the team facilities from Valley Ranch to Frisco in 2016.
Not to mention he has put together a pretty decent squad this year, with a nice mix of veterans and young players.

Hope y'all are right. Whenever Dallas wins a Super Bowl I'm probably going to lose every friend I have that's not a Boys fan
