THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

Finally a game where Romo doesn't save Garretts a** by throwing interceptions.
Usually after a loss like this 99% of the sports world is talking about Romo being a choke artist.
Then there's the 1% that blame Garrett.
Well this time around it should be 99% of the sports world pointing the finger at Garrett, and 1% at Jerry for hiring him with little to no coaching experience.
Garrett is 25-23 as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.
Sean Payton would be 39-9 with two Super Bowl victories and one coach of the year award.
Todays coaching performance may be the straw guys.
Not sure how much more Jerry can stomach.

Sean Payton would NOT be 39-9 with the Cowboys..not when your QB usually blows games by throwing INT's at the most inopportune of times. Dallas arguably has the best team in the NFC East on paper, but in Jerry's world, QB's who blow high profile games deserve a huge chunk of roster cash.

Just came in here to say Megatron > Dez
smokin.gif
Megatron>Dez, but the rest of the NFL WRs<Dez

If you really knew football (not madden), you wouldn't post that statement.
Your part of the 99% that blame Romo for everything.

Don't know bout 39-9 and 2 titles but I understand the frustration. I've always felt the lack of good personnel and depth on both sides of the line and weak safeties have handcuffed this team for years.

All I know these losses show how emotional unstable some of y'all are. Dudes still talking about Witten getting all the looks when at least from what I see its clearly looks like Williams is getting a lot of looks nowadays. We lost and it was hard to take but dang how some of y'all acting and typing I feel sorry for y'all's ole lady's lol. They going to end up pregnant with all that aggression and anger but it will feel good lol

Yeah. People handle losses different. There is still reason to be optimistic. They're still the best team in the division, 8 games left. 3 of there 4 losses are by less then 3 points which tells me there close for what it's worth.

It's worth a 4-4 record and every team in the league feeling like they can beat you if they just hang in there long enough.

Deion speaking the truth

"[Dez Bryant] is the only guy on that team that plays w/ that kind of passion. The only guy.”

“I feel he is the only guy...Cowboys fans can identify with [in terms of passion and intensity.]"[/SIZE=5]

"We don’t give WRs and RBs enough credit to know the game. When you line up, you know where the ball is supposed to go

"It is OK for the quarterback to get on everybody, but not the receiver?""

"You can’t ask for [Bryant's] passion & intensity in certain areas of the game but don’t want it when it is really going down.""

Couldn't agree more with the statement in bold. Other than Lee, Dez is the only one to show passion. Ware, Witten and Romo don't even show it consistently. Deion hit the nail on the head.

Yeah it looked like Witten was talking that "it's not over dude, we still have 12sec and two timeouts."
That boy Dez was like "we should be up by 20 on these scrubs! I can't even get them to throw me the rock!"

he should be tho, he was trying to show up coaches and his QB

No he should not. Like all of us he thinks that when you have your foot on a teams neck you keep it there and apply even more pressure no matter what the clock says. He is just trying to get these well-paid athletes to have some genuine passion and confidence in what they are doing like he does.

Yea, Witten was talking that, "Go play! Go play!" Rightfully so though
