THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

Watching SoundFx and Dez is the only guy that cares about being out there :smh:

Watched it last night and felt sorry for Dez.
Dudes looking at him like he's an idiot.
Miles got up and walked off when Dez was trying to talk to him about the game.
O-line not even responding when Dez is trying to get them fired up.
Dez needs to slap one of them scrubs on defense to let them cats know it's real.

I've liked Dez since college and this is one of the reasons why, but instead he gets a rep that's he's a selfish diva WR

Dez probably thought he was coming to an up and coming team when he got drafted.... Got hit with the swift okie doke.

I 100% believe Dez when he said he cried after Sundays lost. Dude wants to win. That might drive him away from Dallas. If he doesn't have an extension by the middle of next season I'd start to get real worried.

he wants to win more than almost any player i've ever seen, that's my dude

Dez was even talking to the defense trying to keep them in the game. He loves this game so much and it's a shame how he's viewed.

Yeah man Miles has checked all the way out. Dude looks like he doesnt even want to be there anymore.

I hope Williams makes a big leap this offseason

I bought a Cowboys pen from the time I was down at the Denver game.

It just broke today while at work (the spring popped out).

Its December. Smh...

Dez and Sean Lee are the only one's with fire. The only time I see Romo with fire is if someone runs the wrong route or causes him an Interception.

He gave a "**** yea, to Dez after that TD" but it seemed kinda forced. I think Romo wants to win but definitely doesn't share the same passion as Dez which isn't all that bad.

The truth is, Romo has overacheived. Maybe not as a Cowboys QB, since we judge QB's on rings, but as an individual player he has far overacheived.

I'm sure he never would have guessed coming out of Eastern Illinois UNDRAFTED that he'd be the QB of Americas Team, get two huge contracts totaling 150 million, while simultaneously banging the baddest blonds in the U.S.("baddest blonds maybe a stretch but you get the idea  ), and breaking just about every single Cowboys passing record.

Guys like Rodgers and ELi who were first round picks have been expected to get rings due to their draft status and careers in college.

Eastern Illinois is like what? Division 3?

Disclaimer - not a Cowboys fan.

If half the team cared and went as hard as Dez, this team wouldn't be so trash.

watching that sound fx vid

only if the whole team had heart.

looking forward to tomorrow, really hope this team realized the wake up call they got and learn from it, I feel like this team really hit rock bottom now.

Man this dude Miley Cyrus has alway been a bum ... Yeah, he had his games and a good season, but he was never a number 1 receiver ... I see about as much upside from T Will as I did with Miles ... I remember seeing this bald headed bum on the field catching passes in warmups from Romo at FedEx before he played a down ... Arrogant and average ... Dropped several balls and tweaked his knee ... **** him and his million dollar contract ...

As for today, it will not end well ... I'm talking like slice of life, tsunami style ... Dude Romo gonna end up logging in the mountains cuz he ****** everyone's life up ...

Looks like the entire staff will be fired if we don't make the playoffs :smokin This is the first time in a while I'll be completely OK with losing. Get Garrett and Kiffen outta here.

I'll still be talking crazy trash if we sweep the entire NFC East tho

maaaan...

as much as i want garrett gone..

i NEVER root for my squad to lose..ever..

so with that said..

lets go get em today boys!

Idk what i want to happen

On one hand i want them to lose but on the other hand we at least have a chance to make the playoffs so why not try to win.

The better question is if we lose and he gets the boot who replaces him. I remember wanting wade philips gone and look where that got us.

DeMarco Murray, Tony Romo not seeing eye to eye

The heat on Tony Romo isn't solely coming from Dallas Cowboys fans.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported on NFL Network's "NFL GameDay Morning" that running back DeMarco Murray has become frustrated with the quarterback's game management.

"DeMarco Murray, their star running back, grumbled to teammates about not getting the ball enough," Rapoport said. "He doesn't understand why Romo always seems to choose pass instead of run... The relationship between Romo and Murray is frosty, a little bit of a growing rift there. It's surprising that some pettiness should creep in at a crucial point of the season, but that's what's happening."

There is empirical evidence behind Murray's frustration. The Cowboys' offense has the second-fewest rush attempts per game this season, with 21.1. Murray has the second-highest yards per rush among all running backs in the NFL this season, at 5.5 yards per rush. However, he ranks 17th in rushes per game, with 14.8.

"When you talk to people who know Bill Callahan, the play caller, they say he's a run-first play caller," Rapoport said. "But it hasn't always turned out like that."

NFL Media Columnist Michael Silver pointed out that the Cowboys brass knows they need to run the ball in order to protect their defense, but they also feel that no lead is safe.

"They recognize that their defense is that leaky, Silver said. "If you talk to Cowboys personnel people, they tell you that they've got guys who would not start anywhere else, might not play anywhere else, so that's why they stay aggressive."
