THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

I'm coming from LA. Ima just cop an actual ticket. I'm staying with a friend out there so that saves on hotel costs so I can just put that towards the ticket. Lookin forward to checking that stadium out though.

I know I'm a 49er fan posting in the cowboys season thread but if any of you guys that's going to the game wanna grab some drinks or grub before the game or whatever hit me up.

I may be down for that, I'll be with plenty of 9er fans so you'd fit right in. I'll let you know depending on what time the shuttle takes us to the stadium

has this behemoth been discussed here?

1000

The Dallas Cowboys new Indoor Training Facility in Frisco, Texas plans to seat a minimum of 12,000 fans for games, says Brad. The practice facility will also be a multi-use facility that can be refigured to accommodate 22,000 seats for other events like concerts.

Current plans are that the Frisco ISD will have use of the facility on Thursday and Friday evenings for football games. As the first school district in the state with an indoor stadium, it will also be an attractive destination for “Blue Star Stadium” to host potential Texas playoff games as well. As a former football mom, I can only imagine how happy those Frisco football moms are — no more freezing games, no more mud caked cleats!

-The stadium must have a master scoreboard with full video replay capabilities, a professional-quality sound system, an NFL-approved playing field with synthetic turf, a press box, broadcast booths for radio and TV, accommodations for at least two coaching booths, one ring of suite seating and-or a club seating area with armchair seats, and an NFL-quality training room.

-The Cowboys will employ at least 150 full-time employees in Frisco and pay Frisco an annual lease payment of at least $100,000.

-Frisco ISD will have exclusive use of the stadium between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays during football season, on Saturdays during the postseason, a day in May for the district’s pin ceremony and a Friday and Saturday in June for graduation ceremonies.

Eff that, I'm keeping hope alive. Im ******* tired of everybody ragging on me at the end of the season. I dont even talk much junk, folks just love when we lose.

Something's gotta give!

Though, I will try not to put all my emotions each Sunday into this team (I say that every year)

oh wow..

that wont work for us.. there is only a total of 4 buddies going.. i guess its gonna be upto Uber.. lol

Romo not practicing today.

I'll be officially nervous if he doesn't play in the preseason....

im such and idiot... i ran into a friend at the bar a few weeks back and we started talking football.  she was talkin mess bout week 1 this and that.. I thought she was talkin bout the niners game soo i betted her 100$.  it didnt click till a few minutes later when she reminded me she was a S.D fan and was talkin bout preseason.. wth who bets on pre season? lol. I tried to get out that bet asap but she wasnt having it, although we decided to drop it to $50.

what do you think my chances of comin out of this bet a winner are? lol

Toss up nobody knows what's gonna happen in the preseason remember when the lions went 0-16 they were 4-0 in the preseason

I don't see them winning many (see:any) more than 6-7 games but I still believe even with a worse record that the team will actually be much better

And in that 6-7 games one is the 9er game I truely believe they will win the opener

Veteran defensive coordinator that will set the HC straight when it comes to play calling.
Monte Kiffin playing the daddy day care role for when the HC is about to lose his mind and blow a big lead.
A young hungry defense in an attacking scheme that will play fast and go hard for 60 minutes.
Might look a little like the 90s this year.
It all hinges on the HC.

We're going 11-5 or 5-11.
I'm rolling with 11-5.
Where's the Super Bowl this year?
Gotta get plane tickets while there cheap

I really don't think the team will be as bad as everyone says. The D was already the worst in franchise history last year, can't get much worse. The Oline will be vastly improved, and it was already top notch. Dez will be better, as will TWill, the offense should be better overall. Marinelli >>>>>>Kiffin. Still, don't see nothing better than 8-8. But I'm positive this team won't finish last in our division like people are saying.

Man we got hungry gladiators on defense.
I'm so glad DeMarcus Ware is gone.
Sean Lee won't be missed. He hasn't really been there anyway.
More creativity on offense and we can be a juggernaut this year.
