THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

John Middlekauff @JohnMiddlekauff
Hearing the #Cowboys are fearing the worst. Source says it does not look good. LB Sean Lee will likely be out for the year

:smh: :smh: :smh: :smh:

We need a legit replacement, not some no name guy off the street.

Lee is probably rehabbing straightedge too. Dude needs to start taking some PEDs. NFL testing is a joke anyways.

Hope it's not a torn ACL but it's looking that way if he started to fall before Martin even hit him.

He's done for the season. Better it happened now than during the season.

The other good thing is that the contract is completely incentive-based this season and is based on how many games he plays. So we aren't losing anything money wise. But I do fear we have to let him go after this season.

It is what it is.

Anybody left on the free agent market? I'm hearing Vilma or James Anderson who played for the Bears/Panthers :smh: .. Carter better step up.

Not the start our defense needed, we didn't even get the pads out yet :x

I don't know if Lee will ever be healthy. Some guys are just really unfortunate, I feel bad for him too, dude is a baller. You know he wants to be out there helping the team. He also lost at least 1.5 million due to this injury :smh:

Could potentially be looking for two starting linebackers next season if Carter loafs again this year and the team decides it's time to move on from Lee.

Rather it happen now, and adjust the defense or whatever needs be than his happen at crunch time week 13.

injuries happen that's the nature of the beast. Just now know Lee just assured us he is not what we are looking for.

Cowboys signed Tyronne Greene, OG.

Cut TE Evan Wilson.

Looks like he'll be backup to Martin. Leary backup to Bernadeau.

With Sean Lee out for the season, and an even more improved line with some solid backups on the team, there is even more reason for us to be more committed to the run. We have to get top 8 in time of possession. We were 26th at 29:02. Top 8 would be an extra 2 minutes of possession per game.

We were 31st in Rushing Attempts.. Should be about 6 or 7 more rushes a game. Would be about league average. Considering DeMarco is a Pro Bowl potential back if healthy, you have to utilize him, especially if you need to hide your defense.

week 4 vs. Saints

Sunday Night Game

ive been trackin tix on ticketliquidator.com..  they have been reasonably priced compared to stubhub, vividseats etc.

plus i can use ebates and grab that 6% cash back lol

I'm pretty fortunate that I buy from the same guy every year and he doesn't kill me but he's using all four seats for the sf game so I will have to look elsewhere

I couldn't pay all that money to go watch this team no way bro but if anyone goes enjoy

I hated the Hitchins pick (the player not so much the position) so hopefully this kid shuts me up like Frederick did

Now in a jokingly manner, if we drafted Manziel we'd still have Lee. No Martin plowing into him.......the smartest OL in the draft hitting in non contact OTAs........

Lol I'm playing, somewhat. Lee overran that play so that's where that injury probably took place, not from Martin but still can't be pancaking dudes in those drills. Go pancake Scandrick or someone brah

I agree with you more often then not but not on this occasion all of this is wron Sean Lee is made of glass he would have found a way to not play this season him and Matt Johnson should go play golf

Why would you not pay to see your team play even if they are bad? are they still not your team? I have had season tix to the A's since 2002 they have had some awful seasons but I'm still there showing my support

Manziel will be nothing in this league (in my opinion) look at his line at tech 3 first round talents one of the best wr in college and he still broke down his own plays and ran for no reason, wait till he's hit by some of the big boys and yes I know he played in the SEC

I don't care for some (see most) of the front offices decisions about trading draft picks in the top 100 or signing old players to huge deals but that does not change how I feel about the team on the field

I live in NY it would cost me big bucks to fly down there to see them so I wouldn't waste over a grand to see a bad team

I feel that, do you go when they come to ny?

I'm in SF bay area I usually go to a game in dal one year and hit an away game the other but with the prices of flights now I will most likely just go to away games as it allows me to actually visit other parts of the US it's not worth it to fly in to dfw on Saturday night and fly out Monday morning anymore unless they are playing either San Fran or Oakland and a bunch of my homies are going and we can make a weekend out of it

Not taking any shots in my previous post just adding my .02
