THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

Yup the best the Giants can do division wise is 3-3. If we win next week. Us and the Skins will both have a division record of 4-2. We get the tie breaker over them by beating more common opponents

Cowboys will need to add a few run blockers this offseason... Killed our momentum in the Second Half because we couldn't open anything up for DeMarco.

If we can get him some gaps, our offense would be unstoppable.

On the defensive side.. We have very little in the way of pass rushing on our line... Allowed Brees to just sit back and pick us apart.
-Hopefully we retain Spencer.. Ratliff makes a difference. And try to find a LE pass rusher that will put pressure on both sides.

Also I could live with our safety play... If we just got rid of Jenkins and replaced him with almost anyone.. Scandrick has inconsistent his entire career, but you can take his play as a #4 corner.... I CAN'T live with Jenkins half *** play

Suffice it to say, this is Tony Romo's biggest game of his career. I will never, ever, evereverevereverever let him live this down if he fails next week.

Not surprised at all that Cowboys/******** is the SNF game for next week; Stevie Wonder could have seen that coming.

Gonna be a tough game. ******** are on a roll are and the Cowboys' track record in these division deciding games in recent years doesn't exactly instill confidence, but I think they can do it.

I swear if we win next week I might end up in a Sao Paulo jail cell for acting too crazy

Anyone know if with directv you can watch games online? I already found a bar down there that televises NFL games but just incase the owner wants to be a douche (I've read reviews that he can be sometimes), I wanna make sure I have a way to see this game. I CANT MISS IT.

Why Couldn't romo play like this the first 8 games...

Now Do we resign him... So Far.. I agree to it...

And D.Harris.... Dude Is Clutch and could be the x factor... I like this dude...

Sad about the L..

And Got Washington.. and everyone is in Love with them... But We're ready.. SNF, It's only right.

after looking it up there is no WC scenario for us. Seattle and San Fran have clinched at least a wild card and one of them is winning the division. Both have at least a two game lead with one to play and Seattle also has the h2h. Minny has a better conference record by one game so if we both lose they're in. Chicago has a h2h and at best we can only tie them so they'd be in over us.

It is truly win and in.

Giants only can win the last WC spot and it is because of their 7-4 conference record but they would need Dal + Min + Chicago to lose plus they would need to win.

Going to be tough to bring Spence back he's 30 and is going to be looking for a big deal, cant blame him after the way he played this year. It might be time to get rid of Ratliff tho, last couple of years hes been injured and hes also getting older. Hes making too much money to not be playing.

But enough offseason talk, i really think we can win. Our offense is rolling, im pretty worried about our defense tho. Cant blame Rob too much hes missing so many starters it would be tough for anybody to make it work. We gotta match their energy and wait until the fourth quarter to start playing.

maaaaan....

im crazy hyped for this game...

playoffs start sunday!

no incentive needed...its the skin...their superbowl is always against us! so lets match their intensity...

defense has backups to backups starting...so i dont expect anything diff from them...just keep it within striking distance and make the stop when it counts...

lets go boys!!

Hopefully it's s good game Sunday. Attack that poor secondary and you should be good. Could very easily see witten and dez both having 125+ yards

I agree with Ratliff.. But my thinking is the Defensive Line is bad enough, if he's healthy he should be an asset. But you made a good point.

On the other hand, Spencer I think he would be back... He was getting $8.5 mil this year. I don't see him getting much more, and I don't think Jerry would just let him go unless he has a good enough replacement.

jay needs to move to a DE postion in this 3-4 and we get a bigger NT. he cant hold up at NT in a 3-4. spencer showed alot this year cause i was pissed they tagged him last offense.

One of my good friends lives in DC and tells me all the time that the ******** can go 1-15 and they won't care as long as that victory was against Dallas. The ironic thing is that DC is FULL of Cowboys fans.

I'm super hyped too. I was telling my boy the other day that I'm more excited about this game than I am going to Brazil

Ware is expected to play btw but not be 100% and not play every down. Victor Butler will have to step up. Regardless, its going to be a shootout. The one thing Dallas does have the advantage in is that we've been in this position before whereas the ******** haven't. We were in this scenario last year and came up short and the majority of the same team is back. I'm hoping that experience will help narrow the gap talent wise between the two teams. Hopefully Ernie Sims is back. He's our fastest ILB.

I think Miles is going to be key to us winning a shootout.

We know Witten will show up... And I think they will put a lot of double coverage on Dez, or try to. If Miles doesn't show up, it will all be on DeMarco. If Miles shows up, it will loosen the coverage on Dez, and we can have some big plays.

Last time around the Cowboys were missing Demarco, Tyron Smith, Livings, Cook, Miles Austin and Olgetree. Dockery was playing center, and Parnell was LT. Felix was playing injured and only had 6 carries. Romo had to throw the ball 62 times. Won't have to do that this Sunday.

Already getting super hyped. Bout to convery everyone in Brazil to Cowboy-ism :smokin

Post your observations from Week 16...
-I know I said this before and I might've been just talking just to talk and you dudes didn't believe me, but there's not a damn chance we lose that game Sunday night.
