THE OFFICIAL 2023 DALLAS COWBOYS OFF-SEASON THREAD || Cowboys Gonna Cowboy

Weeden's accuracy. ******* terrible. And he stares down his target something serious. :smh:
10 completions, at least 3 of which were screens. Good grief.

I would scream forward progress but weeden ain't bringing us back down one score
let alone two (if they got the fg being down 14)

Why couldn't Orton just play his position as a backup

I expected a lil more from weeden than this

Weeden might as well announce where he's going with the ball presnap. Because that's how bad he stares people done. He literally does NOT go through his progressions AT ALL.

Crawford, our best DL, may be done for the year. Ro should be ok though.

But part of me is definitely smiling because people were gassed about Weeden's 3 completions in last weeks game. It's easy for a backup to look decent when a team doesn't have to prepare for him.

As I've said in the past, those 8-8 seasons with Romo would have been 2-14 seasons without Romo.

Speaking of Romo, he's going to London and expected to play.

???? Only thing I've read about Crawfords injury is it being a possible Mcl sprain that would have him out until the NYG game after the bye. Though as with always, with this coaching staff, that probably does mean he's out for the year

Think that's why people preferred Weeden stay in the game last week. Not that the team would be fine with Weeden playing for a couple weeks.

8-8 with Romo vs 6-10 or 5-11 with Vinny Testaverde or Drew Bledsoe, what's the difference. Still sitting at home at the end of the regular season.

Wishing Romo a speedy recovery. Want the NFC East won with all healthy, high-impact players. I wonder how his back injuries will affect life after football.

I hope he's fine I'm no expert in the medical field but if it would help I'd sit him again one more loss to get a healthy Romo back is worth it to me as a fan

As to after football just the ruptured disk is enough for him to have problems down the line, not sure what this adds to that. That's why these guys get paid the big bucks

If Weeden can't beat the Jags on a neutral field we should just cut him anyway

I wouldn't even allow Romo to travel to Wembley. Jags are 24th worst against the run. Pound Murray, Dunbar, and Randle all game long. Rely on your defense to force turnovers. Let Weeden game manage, nothing more. Romo would be completely healthy after the bye to face the G-Men at MetLife.

Yup...

Eagles bring in Pryor for tryout I would rather they had Foles then the possibility of a real athlete running that offense

This is BS, Fox is showing the 49er/Saints game where I'm ay so I can't watch the boys in London :smh:

These analysts on NFLN and ESPN keep talking about Cowboy Football and referencing Emmitt, Aikman and Irvin

I'm like why the $@%# does how they played 20 years ago reference to how they should play today?
