Nah, my email has been working fine. Maybe you could try deleting your mail account then installing it again.
 
Are you using Exchange for Gmail?  I had problems with my email.  I was using Exchange too for Mail, Contacts, and Calendar.  For some reason, Contacts and Calendar worked perfectly. And for some odd reason if I did a test email to send email from the account that it worked fine too.  I use the Gmail app but I use the Mail app to send mail links from Safari and sometimes read email.  What worked for me was that I used the Exchange only for Contacts and Calendar and turned off Mail. Then, I added the Gmail account separately by selecting "Gmail" instead of the Exchange account. 
 
Hint for those in non-LTE areas - disable "enable LTE". It runs your battery to the ground since it's constantly searching for LTE. I did have a chance to test out LTE back home in DC this weekend and it's blazing fast. Almost comparable to my home cable connection.

But yea this phone is just easy. The UI is damn near flawless. Couple that with the new form factor and aluminum casing and I couldn't be more happier with my purchase. And I've still yet to scratch the surface and really utilize iOS 6.

Oh yea, naked black iPhone 5 >>>>>

That is until Lifeproof drops their case. :smokin

I know how you feel though. I left my family's plan because I wanted my own account. I lost my unlimited data and now have the crappy 1 GB limit on my solo account. I'm paying around $80 a month for all these unlimited minutes that I don't need.

I was slight-weight kidding... my homeboy who I'd go on one with got laid off so I'd have to wait until he gets a job :frown:


My parents are on a plan together with AT&T so I can't ask my mom....

Lol bro what you need to do is get on a family plan with your family or your best friends that you KNOW will hold it down no matter what. the more people you have the better savings, if you got a nice group who are trust worthy you all can freak a 10gb plan easy.

i say power support when they release one for the 5... For my 3gs , 4 and 4s I installed 1 for the lifetime... Dam things don't even scratch.. They are usually about $18 for 1 but are super easy to put on with out bubbles
 
used 4G LTE all day. i was doing good until around 7 pm (11 hours of use) and then one of my tweets got retweeted like 500 times :x and killed battery quickly. topped out at about 12 hours before i had to charge at 10%

I turn all push notifications off, and I set my email to manual. Helps out a lot.

I pulled my phone off charger at 6:45 am and right now I`m at 9 percent. Mainly played a few games, twitter, instagram and email all day.

push email is off. only twitter and instagram get pushed right now.

I wish i waited for power support to release theirs.  I went with sgp and had hella bubbles. i wrecked both skins within 30 min. what a waste of $15

I would not be able to let it go but that is just me.
 
return it say it came like that, that u been reading a lot of phones coming predamaged that you were trying to live with it but it bothers you


anyway my sept 16th verizon order got charged today, hope i get a tracking soon
 
My iPhone can't send or receive picture messages after that buggy IOS 6 upgrade >: , I've been surfing the net and many other people have been having the same problem with later versions... i guess apple making sure to motivate everyone to get the new iPhone.

Anyone else having these problems?

I don't have any notifications on really. My brightness is set low and auto bright is off.
