It's war. It happens. Trying to throw us off. maybe even get a suspension

Pulling his arm out of his socket should have been his first hint. It's amazing the **** they let him get away with

 @ Me being an option.

They better win this series, or I'll never hear the end of it.

EDIT: I really appreciate Melo getting out of there before he made a bad decision. Hopefully he's learned from the other incident.

The celtics will do anything and everything to win. That's what I mean. Hurt, cheat, pull, lobby refs, low blows. And the Knicks should be prepared

And ppl were looking ahead to indiana/atlanta
That's what kills me though...you would think as KNICKS fans (hell, a lot of us are Yankee fans too) that wins would NEVER, ever be taken for granted in the playoffs. People should've learned their lesson in '04 and sadly, I'm about to have that same nightmare in my sleep.

Said before the series started that you can't underestimate the Celtics...don't care how washed they are or how many guys they're missing. They've been buried prematurely far too many times over the past few years (right, JR?) so this arrogance...this self-aggrandizing from a team/fanbase that has NO reason to puff our chests was wild crazy to me. *shrugs*

Clear lack of effort again tonight and they played knowing they had a 2 game advantage instead of 1 more to win.

People are gonna look for one guy to shoulder all the blame but, like Allen mentioned, this was a poor reflection on everyone other than Felton/Shump. I will say though...as much as ****** wanna cry foul on NBA and DA REFS...it all starts with JR being a moron and elbowing Terry in Game 3. That's the real "Dave Roberts moment".
Friday night in Boston with them off of life support/one final stand is going to be an insane environment.

It's going to take a hell of a performance to prevent a G7.
Honestly, I feel like it's our Game 7. Same way I felt back in '04 when the Red Sox came back. Once the Yanks couldn't close it out in Game 6, I knew it was over. Don't care if G7 is at home...the amount of pressure on the Knicks after failing 3 times to close it out would be monumental.

"Mo(mentum) is a b___h." - Phil Jackson

Melo lost us game 4 by chucking down the stretch instead of letting Felton create and moving the ball. Tonight's game happens, what matters is how we respond in the next one. If there was ever a time to step on an organization's neck, now is the time. We need to end the Celtics smile in game 6. I have no confidence in coming back if they tie the series.

The Dave Roberts moment is melo missing two free throws in game 4

But of they win. Guess what. Nobody will ever care

Was in panic mode after game 4. Now it's cardiac arrest.

We should have ended this team when we had the chance to. This all falls on Melo. As the superstar, you need to shoulder the blame and come out with an inspired effort.

And please stop complaining. We are playing right into this cheap team's ways. We are right where they want us.

Time to get out of it. Let's go NYK NT brethren.

problem was the bench production. Felton played excellent all series, Chandler is looking better with each passing game, and Shumper was amazing tonight.

Melo will have his off nights, it's a team game and others will have to carry the slack. Today was practically another game with JR being out the way he was shooting the ball.

Prigs looked good but wasn't out there for long....role players have to step up.

Carmelo Anthony had Jordan Crawford in his face as the teams left the court - and I'll leave it to better lip-readers than me to say what was said.

But I can tell you what Carmelo Anthony thought of it.

"I'm not thinking about no Jordan Crawford, not at this point in time, I'll tell you that," Anthony said. "I dont even think he deserves for you to be typing right now.

Leggo!!
back to the lakers thread
We've already begun offseason discussions, though. :\

Thats what we need though. We need to have that hurt, kill, cheat, low blow mentality if want to get anywhere near a chip. I rather do all this crap on that court than the stupid crap we do off the court (guaranteeing Ws, wearing all black, etc).

Let them keep talking, best way to hurt them is winning on the home floor.

Just make your damn open shots.

Straight up choke job from beginning to end. Taken all fun and enthusiasm out the playoffs for me.

Even if they win Friday, it won't feel the same here on out.

:x

Oh and I totally blame HTTB for JR's play cuz he must've thought he got suspended a 2nd game the way he played.
