and we're done

Our bench could be :smokin too when Amare and Shump comes back.

2nd Unit - Kidd - Smith - Novak - Amare - Wallace
3rd unit - Prigioni - White - Copeland - Camby

I'm guessing Woodson is sitting Thomas cuz he wants to preserve him for the playoffs.....?

Last couple games he played, his shot started coming along, so it can't be that. Also, a game where we obviously got hurt playing small and Crazy Eyes is still chilling.

The way that our defense is shaping up.....I could actually see STAT being able to hide his defensive weaknesses and help us on that end.

Tyson seems hesitant to attempt blocks this season and Amar'e's a decent weakside defender. He could rack up some swats while players try getting position on Tyse if he roams the middle of a zone.

I would like to thank Melo for making sure my birthday doesn't get spoiled with a Manhattan loss to Brooklyn.

And Shump for capping it off with a great Tweet

Bk don't want no problems

Anyone can hook me up with the Bred 11's ?

No discount or anything, just want a pair !

Great great win! We really toughed that one out. Couldn't be any prouder.

I'm still really concerned with our interior defense. And that concern starts with Tyson Chandler. If Camby can't go we gotta bring someone in cause its only gonna get worse with Amare.

Oh and I remember a time where people weren't sure about Melo. Let there be no more doubts about the value we received in that trade.

For a defending DPOY he gets no respect from the refs. Any time he goes up he gets called for a foul and ends up in foul trouble. Would I like for him to try and swat more? Sure. But I dont blame him for just putting his hands up most of the time and just trying to do what he can to alter the shot.

Personally, I'd keep Kidd with the first unit and have Shump in the 2nd unit along with Amare.

Aint no "favoritism" if the decision is mine. We're 16-5 because our first unit as it is WORKS. Why mess that up?

You wanna be in the starting unit, then you have to prove that you can work well in it. Until then, get use to coming off the bench.

Besides, Shump and Amare in the second unit makes us damn near unstoppable.

Kidd anchors that first unit; he's practically indispensable.

Yea you're right, and not starting Shump makes our bench even better
Theres gonna be alot of players losing minutes, when Amare and Shump gets back.
Copeland and White might not play at all lol, which isnt a problem

the lineup is going to be like this when shump and amare come back

in no particular starting 5 order just listing the rotation kind of like how dantoni had a set of guys then everyone else was dnp

felton/kidd
shump/jr
melo/brewer
amare/novak
chandler/camby or sheed

the rest of the team will not play at all... the odd guy out or 10th guy will be either sheed or camby... and if the knicks really want to play small ball and cut the rotation to 9 players they will bench amare and use him at center then the bench would be like this

kidd
jr
brewer
novak
amare

Kidd can be 1st or 2nd unit as long as the old man is out there in the 4th quarter checking the other teams best wing player, then its all good.

What clever chant will the crowd come up with for Pringles on Thursday?

Nahh, Kidd of the bench, Shumpert has to start he is vital to the 2 spot esp defensively.

I said this before...but start Felton, Shump, Melo, Chandler and whoever else.

Bench: Kidd, JR, Novak, Amare, Rasheed is a good 2nd unit considering the chemistry JR and Novak have, plus with Kidd out there to balance things out.

whoever has the hot hand closes out games so it doesn't really matter.

Yo its so many possibilities with our roster. I feel like that black dude from star trek who started shaking violently.

I personally would start amare and sit him by the 9 minute mark. So at least he has his ego taken care of.

Move Melo to the 4 and have a similar line up to what we have now.

Let everything else fall into play.... It will be extremely tough to shorten the rotation to 9 or less.
Everyone is valuable.

You think 3 min in to the game after starting will satisfy any player's ego?

As far rotation goes no need to do it imo. Way I see this lets the defense be a bit more aggressive since we're so deep. We should just sub in guys based on foul trouble.

I lost my voice in there tonight, epic game.

Epic finish.

I sincerely hate many of these nets players. Flopping scumbags. The only reason Gerald Wallace keeps his hair long is so it looks worse when he flails his head back

I agree with your assessment on Gerald, just throwing his body all over the place and hoping to bair the refs into calls. I was SOOOOOOOOOOOO sure they'd call some **** **** when he rammed in to J.R. at the end of the game there. Glad they proved me wrong.

I hope the Knicks take a **** on the Lakers this Thursday and Christmas.  Laker Management better be having regrets right now.

Coworkers taking me out this Thursday as a way to end my internship out here in SoCal. Bruh, Knicks better win this. Still think it'll be close

You really think so?  I believe Felton will just tear up Duhon and Morris; get in the paint whenever he wants to ,just shoot lights out on the court, and get Chandler involved with the Lakers pick and roll defense.

Melo will just be vintage Melo.

Knicks probably will win by 15+.

Kidd stays a starter and Shump and Amare come off the bench as already mentioned. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Can't wait for the next game! :pimp:
