and we're done

Got a lot more faith in Shump, that's some faith I lost in JR and Melo. Straight up gonna burst in to laughter the next time somebody mentions Avery Bradley

I aint even gonna talk about the game since we're playing Sunday.

They wanted:
Nash
Dudley
And lets not forget

Reddick

But then again I didn't want Woody when he was hhomlast season but I wasn't one of the people who was saying replace him this past off-season

Gallo Is home, Lin is home life is good

nah man shump is one of the valuable pieces on this team. i never wanted to get rid of him. i wanted nash here but not at the expense of trading shump. and trading for dudley i wont even get into that. its a joke

I'm just glad Shumpert showed up now in the POSTSEASON when it matters.

It's actually refreshing to see a role player step up. Landry Fields could learn a thing or two :smh:

What makes me more excited about Shumpert is that he's showing up on the defensive end. He can have off nights on the offensive end, but that defense will always be there.

Thank. You. God.

After that last steal by Bradley, and Melo was heated I knew he was gonna be clutch. It's so funny how the two guys that were horrid, won the game for us with Melo and JR. Say what you want by them, but they are clutch players.

Iman. :smh: You sir are amazing. Excellent game.

I'm happy we won, but I'm more relieved than happy. With that said let's destroy thePacers :smokin

Marry me? :D

Chris Paul, doesn't look like or sound like he's too confident about coming back.

Could the Knicks possib.....(ah forget it, it's impossible) :nerd:

Let's not go through this again. We'd have to move STAT for this to happen.

Speaking of STAT--I know some of you guys don't want to know, but, when is he coming back? For the Pacers we're going to need some size. We'd also need defense too, but that might nullify STAT completely

We used our amnesty on Billups.

And I assumed we wouldn't see Amare at all during the playoffs.

I'm just so angry at Prigioni for not coming into the NBA when he was younger man. Dude would have been great. NBA teams need to go after more European professional talent, these dudes just know how to play.

I told myself I wouldn't buy a new Knicks jersey cause I'm not a fan of these jerseys, but Prigioni is making it hard for me. Might have to buy a home one.

It's a shame Amar'e is on the outside looking in on this whole situation.

In Amare's defense, he's tried to do everything right on his part. Dude put in the work to change his game, and when he was playing for us, dude was nothing but professional about things. Sure, he didn't play much defense, but he certainly was a nice addition coming from the bench.

I wish he would just play some defense when he's on the court. Even a little improvement with rebounding a defense on his part would go a long way. I still think he could make a difference for us if he get's it together.

He's not at fault at all. I give him more credit than anyone. He came to the team when they were pretty much radioactive, plus the money they threw at him didn't hurt either. Sad thing is, after watching him and Melo that first game, I knew after watching them for 5 minutes that it wouldn't work out. There was no fluidity with them playing together and obviously that hasn't changed and is becoming a bigger concern going forward. I've talked with Knick fans outside of this thread and they all look at me sideways with my solution to this problem. I just wonder how they are going to deal with it. My guess, typical Knicks management fashion :smh:

I remember some moron caller called into the fan ******** on Melo for wearing the rib and thigh pads. Dumbass, everyone in college wears at least one of the two and it allows you to bang more freely. Glad we got this win time to keep moving forward.

I think if the Knicks have the ball movement we've seen when things are clicking, Amare and Melo can be great when they're playing together. It's usually a problem when the ball isn't moving around.

Also, Amare seems to have figured out how to play with Tyson on the floor too. Last year, that seemed to be the biggest issue with Amare. It wasn't so much being Melo being on the court, but Tyson taking up space in the post. As long as the ball movement is there, Amare and Melo can be great together.

Favorite rivalry of the 90s coming back :pimp:. I am legit pulling of the knicks the whole way.

It's so many things. I ultimately think it won't work. It works in spurts. Some games 'Melo buys into the ball movement, but when things don't go smoothly, he reverts back to what he knows. They really need a pg that can give it to them in spots and can switch it up and run when needed. This would satisfy Tyson and Amar'e alike when all they have to do is box out, and run baseline to baseline. Thing is, they could have developed Ray the FIRST time he was here and not traded him. Management screwed up the chemistry he and Amar'e were developing. You could have added Tyson to that and they would have been fine. Of course the X factor in that is the addition of 'Melo. You need a veteran type PG to pull him to the side and tell him how to take shots. As we saw how Chauncey did with him in Denver and now J Kidd. Felton isn't a strong enough leader to tell 'Melo to shut his *** up and get to a spot. That's what he needs. I would say CP3 is ideal for this spot but unlikely. So they are stuck now. I know you guys are gonna hate me for saying this but I don't think Woodson is the answer either. He's done a fine job, but he's never gone beyond the second round. Maybe he can get it done this time, idk.
