I was wondering where the hell you types were. Like I'm legit pulling for you guys, and I got dudes like "Remember 04, Red Sox? We're toast. You're just trying to jinx us."

Y'all got this. For real. :smokin[/quote]Hey you're misquoting me. I just can't recall the last time I saw you in a NY team thread with words of encouragement.

And if there's anything I've learned from '04 it's that anything can happen.

I look forward to tonight, and I expect the Knicks to close it out. But I felt the same way Wednesday.

Just win.

From what i've seen from melo in his career so far he seems to always step up when faced with pressure so i say this one is over tonight.

JR is more clutch than him...yes i said that...i really said that....Melo missed that shot against the bulls earlier in the year and he missed free throws on sunday...c'mon Melo lol...

I actually agree with him. JR hit bigger shots this year, and i'm not even talking about gamewinners.

I dont even trust Melo in GW situations anymore.

Here we go already

Right now Shump is looking more clutch

That 4th qt he had in game 4 should of won the game.

He should of gotten the ball more in OT. He can hit the big shot I don't know why some can't see that

I mean he doesn't hit the shot that gives us the lead but he hits the shots that keep us from falling completely out the game or that salvage the lead

I don't even want to talk about the D(efense)

Knicks v. Celtics?
Go NY!

Jets or Giants v. Cowboys or Patriots?
Go NY!

Mets v. Red Sox?
Go NY!

Yankees v. Satan?
C'mon, Lucifer!

Now I understand for some of you, the love for your Knicks is right there w/ your love for tne Yankees, so it's like "If you hate my Yankees, I don't want you pulling for my Knicks."

Too bad. My team is done, you're playing a team I hate, and you have my 2nd favorite PG of all time. :D

I still don't understand the iso ball. Someone needs to explain that in a press conference.
It's lazy basketball. I don't mind an iso late in the clock, on a mismatch, etc but past two games have been too much. And what makes it worse is Melo not even really doing anything with these isos. It's been one dribble, contested shot. Very few blow bys, no backing down onto the block, just one dribble shoot three feet inside the arc with a hand in his face. Melo's better than that.

Knicks will win tonight, this was a good learning experience for what I thought was already a veteran savvy team. :rolleyes

If not - the sky will fall, Melo will get traded, JR will go play in Milwaukee, we'll be forced to watch Amare play and most importantly Bill Simmons will do a 30 for 30 about this collapse.

No pressure. Knicks got it.

Shump over Carmelo Anthony?

Tonight's game is all on Melo. He NEEDS to come up big. His legacy is literally on the line with this series.

No pressure

Theres not much I can say about this game that hasn't been said.

Let's go out there and win. I don't care how we do it. 1 Point buzzer beater or 20 point blowout, it doesn't matter. Bottom line is we have to win. This series ends tonight.

It's gotta be immense pressure. If they were up 2-1 nobody would care as much. But to lose in historic fashion. Never live it down.

Remember that game 1 whistle fest last year? Ed Malloy :smh:
