Doms.Restorations - Im Back!! Updates on the last page! IG: Doms.restorations

Im sorry to keep annoying you with "Can I restore this?" questions but I just want to know can I restore it before I invest money and give my hopes up, because I'm really looking forward to getting a pair of 5's.

Those 5's would definitely be a lot harder to restore than the 3's

If you're a beginner I would definitely suggest going with the 3's as

they're going to be all around easier to restore

and theres more info on restoring them on the web

Most people dont try and restore their green bean 5's so you

wont find much on them

What methods are there to restoring a yellowed heel tab? I've heard about getting any paint off using angelus prepper and degalzer and then just painting it but I'm afraid it might crack.

Hey Matt,

The only way I know of is to paint it but you're right, it might crack

Such beautiful work! Btw Florida is too hot for sea glow/ retro bright / sauce you need indoor methods here :/

I got a question for you regarding repainting aqua 8s. How many coats are you doing because i repainted my personal pair and after a few wears its starting to crack again? Are you using adhesion promotor before repainting?

I do use a Adhesion Promoter and I would recommend using one

Hey man great work first off, I have a pair of alpha 1s chicagos that need restoration, all the white of the shoe is dirty even toebox and where the laces sit toungue, should I use the same method from that video on all the white parts? thanks

Hey Peabrain I have a quick question. I'm restoring some flint 13's I've already repainted the toe box back white and I forgot the acrylic finish. so I'm ordering some should I get the normal, satin, high gloss, matte, or flat top finish. I'm thinking the flat top and would it be okay to apply the finish days after I've already painted them because I have to wait on it to be shipped. thanks in advance.

Hey Dom,

I have a pair of Adidas zx 9000 and the top achilles support in one of them has deformed (or slightly crushed/bent), and now I can feel a lump on the back of my achilles. Basicly the top of the achilles support was damaged and has partly collapased (only slightly at the top. Shoes still looks 100% its just that there is a small bulge that has been created by the bent/crushed top part of the achilles support). Do you mainly work in restoring shoes, or are repairs something you do also?

The shoes in question:

will leaving out in the sun too long destoryed the shoe? I have a pair of air max clot. I want to get it at the blue tint again. Mine faded. do I just keep reapply the retrobrite every hour im not using the paper wrap.

Which video are you referring too?

If its just dirt I would suggest deep cleaning the material first

I would go with the flat top or satin

Leaving the shoe out too long in the sun will cause sole seperation

You should use the ceran wrap which will allow the retrobrite to work longer

therefore needing less sessions altogether

Try Scotch Blue with the edge lock stuff, it works great

Does anybody know anything that I can use to fill cracks or tiny holes on midsoles? Before painting
I would try looking for a polyurethane filler at your local hardware store.  If they dont have that ask what

would be something similar to it.
Like what method do you use with seaglowband RIT dye?
I haven't dyed soles before but I know that the seaglow +Rit Dye does work (ive seen a couple youtube videos)

Nice work peabrain, PM sent
Pm responded, thanks

PEABRAIN:

What tools/cleaning sprays would you recommend to clean the nubuck on some 2001 Infrared VI's? Also what would you recommend to dye it black again?

Thanks in ad*****.
