Thought my first order didnt go through when they released that night and ended up with 3...
Crazy hw they werent even limited to 1 per ccustomer... now u have these that are actually limited n peeps still miss out...

your right on everything but as you know the times have changed and only for the worse

the hype on the DB started slowly with the 6's
but the 3's was unbelievable & the 4's had the hype of a OG colorway
and i dont see it getting any better

the shoes will become harder to get now with twitter and no lines

I still remember people being able to get DB 2s at 2 in the afternoon on RD at NT Chicago.

Fast forward a few years and every kid size except a 3.5y was sold out at NT by 8:30am.

same here people where camping for the kids size 9's at ntny
when i went to get my RSVP pair

i camped out for the db's all night ay ntny thinking it would be nuts
there was lines campouts back them

but no hype what so ever
once the sun came up a line over 50 people showed up none of them looked like they buy shoes and pairs still there until the weekend

the db 1's had a little more hype

the 6's i almost passed on but i got them on the restock the next week

the 3's and 4's i waited a few hours

I remember doubling up on the 2's via phone order at ATL's NT and the 1's, 6's and 3's online at NDC. They were all pretty easy. I'm not sure how the release for the 4's were because I thought they were hideous and had absolutely no interest in them, but from what I read they had the most hype.
 
i should have thought about seeing if someone with a nike town would have rsvp these for me smh oh well..next time i have a plan :evil:
 
Need some help. I have a chance to trade for some ds db4. I will be giving up vnds 04 13s and 99 bred 4s in good shape. What do you guys think? I figured this was the place to come for help.

Yeah in retrospect i really regret passing on DB 3s to get Cool Grey 11s (which i ended up not liking and sold them months later for a little above retail). But I do remember that all of the people I know who went after DB 6s, DB 3s, and even DB 4s got their pairs in their size. They just had to camp for them. One of my boys ended up with 10 pairs of DB 4s.

The lineup for DB 4s started at 8pm and the line apparently was insanity because it was the first time they ever came in GS and everyone went crazy over the Superman theme. I hated them so I sat the release out. But DB 4s were going for 425-450 after the release, just like these 9s. and a few months later they REALLY shot up and I have no idea why.

I think that these might even be the most expensive of the DB line because like you said, people werent able to camp for these like they did before. Alot of states dont even have Niketowns so many were left out in the cold. They sold out in a instant on NDC and the RSVP was the equivalent of winning the lottery chance wise. I know that NT Chicago was the only spot in the entire Midwest that got them.

thats about fair when you think about it. i say do it. the 99 bred 4s would be a ticking time bomb unless you soleswap them

while enjoy some reviews; for example that one NT member GTfan or something like that, i find most of them useless. especially "on foot" sections.

the review i appreciate the most are nightwings, as i unlike alot of the NT fatties will use alot of my shoes for both casual and athletic purposes
