The Walking Dead - Official Thread

Just in case you guys were wondering, I found the answer. My agent told me they're filming in LA and Vancouver. Told me the kind of roles they're trying to fill as well. Shooting begins may 11 and continues through july. They're looking for regulars and recurring characters. The prime place they're shooting is Vancouver with the additional being in LA. Auditions are in LA. You guys in the area that act or want to act should definitely consider it, could be huge for you.
I wanna be a zombie. Ask your agent when the tryouts are. I'll be the first zombie to throw up gang signs and b walk on set

Watched ep 3 last night, it's funny how much I forgot. Like when they show Lori giving Carl a haircut in front of Shane and Shane telling Carl how much he will hate shaving when he is older. Then this season they put so much emphasis on Rick shaving and getting his fresh cut.

As for the running zombies... I just took it as that was when things were still fresh. But now we are probably a year and change from when Rick woke up. A lot of these zombies are badly decayed and would probably fall apart if they ran.... like the fibers in the body are damb near mush at this point. Not sure if I'm making sense haha. Trying to rush this reply at work.

To be a zombie is much easier. They're just extras. And then you just get more dough if you make it to the screen and even more if you're involved in an attack. I'd guess it would start around the same time.

being a zombie is easier? the walking dead producers say they take the zombies VERY seriously and put them in a university to study and learn how to be a proper zombie. they have to really go thru some hoops. u cnt just sign up get makeup and go.

still a lot to digest as i basically binged the last three episodes last night.
will rick's group be the hunter instead of the hunted?
morgan gonna stick?
rick aka mr. steal ya girl :smh:
funny how carol has the biggest balls out of all of them
really thought daryl was gonna have a moment in the car with jcrew

I mean it's easier than my original post as the parts I mentioned are all speaking/regular characters on the show.

They must be shooting for season 2 or something cause the series comes out this summer. EDIT.... they shot the first episode/pilot already....but you right, they shooting the rest of the 5 eps during that time frame.

Yeah,  I thought the directors had addressed this already. I, too, thought they were still 'new' walkers, which gave them the ability to move quicker...But climbing the fence? Yeah, Idk about that. lol.

i was seriously caught off guard.

first the walkers were chasing them
then when Rick and Glenn jumped over the fence i thought they were safe

yo!

im sitting here watching season one for the first time, the episode where they left Merle on the roof.

how they got running zombies
running zombies that can climb fences and ****
Season 1 was the only thing that made this zombie apocalypse believable. All the other seasons it became more unbelievable as the show progressed. Hershel with his unlimited ammo shot gun. Then everyone became a sharp shooter out of the blue. Ammo seems to have replenished after every episode etc.

I can't speak on Herschels super shotgun, lol. But I think they got all the ammo from Woodbury. Remember, the Governor was killing and stealing from military people.

I agree with you...But even in Season 1....Rick shooting his magnum with one hand, and has MINIMAL recoil? Cmon bro.

Daryl riding around with his motorcycle and not attracting walkers?

The end of season 2 where Rick honks the horn to signal everyone to stop their vehicles.

I think I could go on and on. lol.

But I still enjoy the show!

I'm hoping I can catch up with all the shows that are on my Netflix watchlist, while TWD is out. lol.

Also, I hope we get more Tara in the next season and she gives Eugene some Yambs...She bad

i'm re-watching the series and i was wondering what ever happened to that hispanic family that left when going to the CDC. Was there a web series on them or what? Are they gone for good? Maybe they'll be a suprise appearance on the finale season?
