I keep hearing this guy is legit and I also he sells fake kicks since he keeps restocking i have been watching the site for months now and no restock but kicks crew just had a restock on the Space Jams, but they sell legit kicks, so is Mental Kicks legit or not? I got my concords from him when he was on ebay and i also bought a pair from DTLR (A DC shoe store) and they both match up but since then people says he sells fakes so whats the deal fake or not? I think he is legit just asking for what others think and any input will help or if anything i am unaware of please post and let me know. Thanks.
 
From my understanding whether they legit or not is kinda a grey area. I did my own research a while back because I was going to purchase some Freddy SB's from them and I feel that they are legit IMO.
 
^^how so? like they have not been getting restocks from what i saw kicks-crew had a restock of the 2009 space jams but they are legit, i have a pair from both and they are exactly the same. they seem pretty legit to me when i asked them if they products were 100% authentic nike products they said yes.
 
No mentalkicks is not legit...I bought a pair of space jams from them and compared them to my pair from finishline and not even the box matches up 100% the bottom is not the proper color it is more blue than clear like the 2011 concord release. I tried to cancel my order before they shipped & received no response. I received them today and sent an email with an inquiry on returns and got an automated response saying they wouldn't be able to get back to me immediately because of holiday traffic... Stay away I wish I did more research before buying. I upset myself 100% :smh: save yourself the trouble...don't do it.

they legit all my pairs match up. box and all...u just trippin
 
Na man there's little things that seem sketch to me I did over react I had a friend check em out he said if you didn't point those things out I would've never noticed.
First off the cardboard lines on the boxes face different directions...Finishline box horizontal & mental kicks vertical
Second the hole on the end where you pull out the box is thinner and more intact where the mentalkicks is fatter and kind of loose
Lastly in my opinion the bottom is more blue than clear some may beg to differ other than that everything matches up...I'm fine with my pair from finishline so I'll probably be posting the Mental kicks pair up for sale on here
I'm gonna post the pics to see if you all see the difference
 
in my honest opinion they are legit. yes i have seen the videos and read the blogs and honestly they leave you as mixed up as anything else. as far as authenticity i'd say they are 100% legit, all the materials used were on point. i'd say its hit or miss tho from a quality stand point i have ordered 5 pairs of shoes from them (3 for myself) and 1 pair came jacked up. materials were legit but the build was a little funky, i complained and they sent me a pair that was damn near perect in its place. i recently ordered a pair of concords off of MK and they came perfect i'll post pics.

everything was on point

I ordered a jordan 4 fire red from them the build was really not as good as what i can get from stores. i did my research on how a fake and real fore reds look like and match it with my military blue which i got from a store everything is exact same its just that the build was awful and after i wore them for about 8x then the paint started to show some creasing. Still dont know of they are legit or not
 
I ordered Jordan 4 Thunders from there recently and they seem 100% Authentic to me. They might be B-Grades but Definatley not fake.

Those are fake. They're grey market
 
They are legit man. I got Breds and Concords from them. Even people who did YouTube vids on mentalkicks says they real.
 
lol Mentalkicks sells grade A high quality replicas/variants/fakes/GMs.

If you new to buying sneakers do no buy from them. They sell high quality replicas @ high reseller prices.
 
Not 100%.
Have ordered 2 seperate pairs from MK in the past.
When you open the box and it smells like you walked into the factory they were made,
It reeks of fraud. I will never purchase from them again.
Get your lazy *****es to the stores early like everybody else,
Or do like I do on release days.... Refresh refresh refresh lol.
I'd rather have a new release sell out & pay a few bucks extra on eBay,
Rather than even question the legitimacy buying from an overseas site.

oh lord this thread got bumped. if you say mental kicks is legit you are an idiot and you don't belong in the sneaker culture. all of their kicks are high quality REPLICAS. they restock on the most sought after kicks out there which is not possible. tell me how can you get a full size run on 09 space jams? plus those icy soles lol..
 
OK I'm gunna put some knowledge on this topic.. I just recently purchased some retro 4 toros. 208 plus shipping in comments I stated I would do review on shoe as said. OK fine the tracking puts the shoe out of hong Kong.OK fine footlockers shoes leave Asia as well, cargos but hey.it never updated past the sorting cenrer .and when it came the shoes box looked like it was used in a home run derby .lol broken bats!! (Bo's reference on feet I might ad.
 
IM gunna shed some knowlege .I ordered retro 4s three weeks ago came in few days ago from mental kicks. Box came from hong Kong . looked like it was used in home run derby.had Chinese card on top when opened shoe had Chinese sticker that said 28cc where us10 would be. Smell is little diff but shoe is spot on. I mean spot on weight ex.but on shipping box it saise that the cargo value is 79.99 us dollars. .wtf!! 80 bucks.common replica price before shipping. That's all I'm saying
 
The priced it like that and that's not the real price. The reason they do that is to avoid being caught and to not put custom tax.
